Disney elevates homosexual to studio chief

A pro-family activist says he's not surprised that the Walt Disney Company has named an open homosexual as studio head.

Disney announced last week it had named Rich Ross as studio chief. The 47-year-old television executive helped to revive the Disney Channel, and now will oversee all production, distribution, and marketing for the company's live-action and animated feature labels. It is the first time an open homosexual has been named to such a position.

Peter LaBarbera is president of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality. He says although a boycott of the entertainment giant (initiated by the American Family Association) was called off several years ago, the company is still very homosexual-friendly.

Peter LaBarbera"The sad reality is that whenever you see a homosexual activist at the top, nine times out of ten they end up pushing that gay agenda using their influence to push it wherever they can," states LaBarbera.

"It's the way the homosexual movement ends up influencing the country far beyond its tiny numbers," he explains. "They get in key positions of power, and then they use that power to advance their agenda."

LaBarbera says it is time for parents to get educated and to move away from Disney to family-friendly entertainment companies.

Well, the cruddy quality, or lack-thereof, of Disney TV and film products is enough for me to cut them off.

I saw 3 minutes of "Disney Channel" at a relative's house, and it was frenic, trying to use flashing images to make up for lack of plot.

I'd take them seriously if I didn't feel like every program, movie and image were just infomercials for the purchase of additional over-priced Disney items.

So, my boycott has been going on since probably before the Little Mermaid, a vacuous tale about an infatuated nincompoop who just about got her father killed due to her poor judgment - and she gets REWARDED for her idiocy. Not the lesson for children, if you ask me.

Well said.

I could care less as long as he does his job — while openly dissapproving of his perversion.

I am “tolerant” not “accepting.”

“If he got the position because he did a great job, who cares if he is gay. There is nothing to suggest he got the job simply because he is gay, and to deny him the job because he is gay is just as absurd.”

Sorry, but that’s just wrong.

One reason to care is found right in the article: “The sad reality is that whenever you see a homosexual activist at the top, nine times out of ten they end up pushing that gay agenda using their influence to push it wherever they can,” states LaBarbera.”

Another is that allowing a person who suffers from same-sex attraction disorder to become a role model is taken by children as an endorsement of sodomy — and those who deny this most vehemently are often the most strident in asserting the same principle applied to cigarettes.

Yet another is that the 2% of the population that suffers from SSAD commits around a third of all sex crimes against those under the age of consent. The more you expose innocent children and youths to sodomites, the more innocent children and youths are molested and/or seduced.

The math is simple: a much higher proportion of the SSAD population commit statutory rape than does the heterosexual population. Put a youth with a man who suffers from SSAD and with a man who doesn’t, and the man with SSAD is statistically much more likely to molest him.

The more you “tolerate” sodomy, the more of it you will get, as these nice widdle harmless sodomites vigorously recruit *your* chilren.

Men who suffer from SSAD should be—must be—discriminated against, in the same way that other mental patients are prevented from harming others.

Oh great. Are we now going to get a sequel where the Genie runs off to Palm Springs with Aladdin?

Not surprising in the least.

We visited Disney World in Orlando a few years ago with my daughter, age 11. We wanted to visit the Magic Kingdom one last time before we left, on our final day.

A Disney employee, an older lady, warned us the night before that we might not want to take my daughter to the park on Saturday, because it was “Gay Day.” But we stuck to our plans, for good or ill.

The two guys in front of us flew into a passionate liplock just a few steps past the turnstyle, prompting the first of several explanations we had to deliver that day. It was an awkward Saturday for us at the Magic Kingdom.

Yeah, no real surprise.
