AWEknee, grandson of Naziman.
Well arnie signed bullet tracking and finger printing into law to further hastle law abiding citizens. Gee, didn't he know guns and ammo get stolen by felons with guns? They sure didn't go through a background check to get them DID THEY PANTY WASTE AWEknee? Did your musclebound mind believe they'd stand to be fingerprinted?
I reload and UPS and FEDEX still bring ammo into Calistan from websites that sell it.
Me, I roll my own yet and cast my own business ends.
What's next? Bann the 50 cal.? Oh he did that but hey we can still own reloading brass, molds, primers and powders. Go back to Bollywood or Hollyland AWEknee
You're drunk early today.
Dang. You could possibly be a little less coherent, if you tried.
Maybe.
I am no fan of AS since he turned uber liberal...
but this is worth a zot imo.

Well the good news is that the ammo stores right over the California border are going to make a FORTUNE, Why should anybody in California go through all this crap to buy 50 rounds when you can take a day trip to a border state and get a couple thousand hassle free?
I’m with you.
A rant.
But not a worthy one.
Why zot the guy? Arnie signed the anti-ammo bill. The thread starter just used colorful language to describe his disgust :)
Great comback but did you have anything to contribute to the fact that AWEknee is at 27% and the demo’s in Sacto are at 13% approval!
Think this will help?
FReeper rules... I couldn’t link to the SFGATE but you know how to google.
Try “Girly Boy” Ammunition
turned liberal? He married a Kennedy.
Nuff said.
What’s with AWEknee? You know gun control was very polular in Germany.
I stand corrected. I thought it was his grandfather that joined the Nazi party.
I think the post is valid. More people need to be aware of the facts...that the Gov. of CA signed the bill and that Arnie's father was a Nazi. This information may not be important to you, but it is valid in the scheme of things. What may be a "zot" to you, may be very crucial to someone else, so let the reader decide.
AB962, the bill that would restrict ammunition sales in California was signed this past evening by Governor Schwarzennegger. His comments are below:
"To the Members of the California State Assembly: I am signing Assembly Bill 962.
This measure would require vendors of handgun ammunition to keep a log of information on handgun ammunition sales, store ammunition in a safe and secure manner, and require the face to-face transfer of ammunition sales.
Although I have previously vetoed legislation similar to this measure, local governments have demonstrated that requiring ammunition vendors to keep records on ammunition sales improves public safety. These records have allowed law enforcement to arrest and prosecute persons who have no business possessing firearms and ammunition: gang members, violent parolees, second and third strikers, and even people previously serving time in state prison for murder.
Utilized properly, this type of information is invaluable for keeping communities safe and preventing dangerous felons from committing crimes with firearms.
Moreover, this type of record keeping is no more intrusive for law abiding citizens than similar laws governing pawnshops or the sale of cold medicine. Unfortunately, even the most successful local program is flawed; without a statewide law, felons can easily skirt the record keeping requirements of one city by visiting another. Assembly Bill 962 will fix this problem by mandating that all ammunition vendors in the state keep records on ammunition sales.
As Governor, I have sought the appropriate balance between public safety and the right to keep and bear arms. I have signed important public safety measures to regulate the sale and transfer of .50 caliber rifles, instituted the California Firearms License Check program, and promoted the use of microstamping technology in handguns. I have also vetoed many pieces of legislation that sought to place unreasonable restrictions and burdens on firearms dealers and ammunition vendors.
Assembly Bill 962 reasonably regulates access to ammunition and improves public safety without placing undue burdens on consumers. For these reasons, I am pleased to sign this bill."
Douchebag!
For many years the people of Oklahoma City and Tulsa were required to give fingerprints to buy handguns. Finally they realized that no one had ever been caught using these fingerprints and it didn't reduce crime so fingerprinting was dropped.
The 1968 Gun Control Law required paperwork for ammo till the law was changed in the 1980's. the Dems tried to kill the bill by including a poison pill that banned the legal ownership of taxed new machineguns. reagan signed the bill anyway.
In 1882 the citizens of California voted down Prop 15 that would have banned all handguns in California. Since that time the Cali legislature has worked overtime trying to find ways around the will of the people.
You're welcome in Texas.
Handgun ammo only. Although I expect in a few years they will try to say what a success it has been, or failure, in either case they will then claim all ammo must fall under this draconian law. We got rid this law in CA once, in fact the citizens of CA voted out a handgun ban on a ballot initiative back in the late 80s. We should get together a ballot initiative to change the constitution again and vote this puke a** law out also.
