Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has signed a bill recognizing gay marriages sanctioned in other states during the nearly five months such unions were legal in California.

Schwarzenegger says the action is consistent with a state Supreme Court ruling upholding the marriages of same-sex couples who tied the knot in California before voters approved Proposition 8.

WTF? Doesn’t he have more pressing issues like taxing the F*&*&^K! out of us so they can hire more prison guards for Scott Peterson?

There wasn’t much other choice.

Mind you, I am not supporting our RINO in charge.

But on this one, the legalities are pretty clear. When something is legal, it is legal. It is folly to fight it.

Save our energy for fights that make more sense.

Except that as of 11/5/08, it is NOT legal in CA.

There was a choice, don't sign a thing. If the weirdos in the California Supreme Court want to rule on something that was against the will of the people then let them but don't become a willing participant.

You mean just like the whole slavery thing? Or the whole Jim Crow laws, deal? They were all legal too. It also use to be legal to beat your kids and your wife. It use to be “legal” for men to take away women’s property, simply because of her gender.

It wasn’t folly to fight what was immoral in the past, and it never will be in the future. In fact, we MUST fight! We must exert more energy than ever, and we must win.
