Is the Somali community responsible for election of this guy?
Next time he should invite Obama.....
LOL. In a sane world, O would be on the no-fly list due to his close association with Ayers.
“Originally, Ellison who is the United States’ first Muslim congressman opted not to announce the cost of the trip”
Seems like there are quite a few congresspersons who are “opting to not announce” the cost of their business dealings, personal ventures, etc.
Indianapolis is represented by Andre’ Carson, the Radical Muslim son of former Congresswoman Julia Carson.
And local media has NEVER even mentioned the muslim part.
Utterly amazing....
WOW
Pilgrimages are costly now-a-days..
In the old days a guy coulde go for very little...
Cook a meal over a campfire-——Free
Water from a stream or river——Free
Sleep out under the stars-———Free
Travel with Ellison——————Pricy
Isn't there a limit of the size of gifts to a congressman?
Our 18 to 40 year old fellow American citizens better wake up to what’s happening to their country.
Isn’t there some ethics regulation about members of Congress accepting large gifts?
YES, there is a limit to gifts to Congress critters...”IF” they get caught, probably.
The Muslim bit isn’t what concerns me. It’s the radical part. Can you imagine a “radical” Christian conservative (whatever that is) being elected to Congress? That would not fly. So why does the media pretend that the only problem with Ellison’s trip is that he didn’t disclose it properly?
Muslim Brotherhood?
Makes me think of Obama and his “christian” faith
And then After 20 years , dumps them and chooses a new church to go undercover and hide in. Thats the Pres of the US of A!!!!
Using the words ethics and Democrat in the same sentence is nonsense.
I guess it all depends on your party affiliation.
Obama has close connections to the Muslim Brotherhood which is funded by the Saudis. I guess that raised no concern.
Wonder what the liquor bill came to?
“Isnt there some ethics regulation about members of Congress accepting large gifts?”
Like all laws and regulations, “ethics regulation[s] about members of congress” don’t apply to members of congress.
He seems to have admitted how much he got. Maybe it's just me but it seems a bad idea for any congressman to be taking what amounts to a bribe from a terrorist organization...but I realize that democrats and conservatives have different values on accepting bribes.
