Feinstein is as close as we have to an old-style Democrat...much more statist than Republicans (in theory), but not anti-American at heart. The old Dems didn’t necessarily hate their own country, the way Obama and the modern ones do.

It's all political theater on the talk show circuit. While their Liberal constituency pours over ever word in the Sunday edition of the New York Times, their Conservative detractors hang onto every word uttered on the Sunday talk shows. The opposite of love is not hate, but rather indifference. That's what they are. Indifferent. Tomorrow Feinstein will speak out the other side of her mouth.
