When the NYT put that picture in the paper, the photoshopped it and took the Paki boyfriend out of the picture. His ex boyfriend now lives in Seattle(interesting huh?) and I believe works in a theater or something like that.
Another FReeper(can’t recall the name) said he used to be a detective around that time, in that neighborhood. He said it was a very gay area and those lace up boots were worn by all of the gays. He said had he walked into that apt. and seen them sitting like that, with Barry’s lace up boots, the little plant in the corner, his gaydar would have been off the charts.
