It’s pretty amazing. I’ve seen that photo several times before and never noticed the hand holding on the knee. But now that I see it, I can’t not see it.

But if someone went to the trouble of photoshopping as you describe, why not make Siddiq farther away? Even that close is gagging for normal men. The other picture took Siddiq out altogether.
The entire background could have been dropped in.
BTW, check out head, neck, and turtleneck in #308. Something is off. Was his head position shopped?

Guess I originally wondered if the grandparents were added to the picture to replace two other people who were there with BHO?
I see what you are saying, but the “black” under siddiqi’s ankle does not appear to be a solid cutoff like the others do. In fact, it is not even as solidly black as the watch and the black behind zero’s pantleg. Why is only part of the watchface brought forward and evenly cut off? I guess I will have to try and sharpen this better.
The artifacts associated with being a natural shadow are just not there, but they ARE under siddiqi’s ankle.

IMO this is the scenario: The image of obama in what appears to be Central Park - he's wearing the same clothes as 'on the bench' - was released simply to ID the location.
The image of the grandparents together could have been taken anywhere.

A while ago, someone (maybe Danae?) mentioned that it was known in Chicago circles that both 0bama and his consort went to “wild” parties where apparently all manner of weirdness went on.

Shadows are sharpest when close to the object they cast on depending on the hardness of the shadowed object. The further away the softer the edges, also slightly influence by hardness.

In the shot with Obama (wearing the leather jacket) it looks like Spring or Summer with all the leaves a uniform green. Why would you wear a heavy jacket like that in the Summer in New York City? You would be dripping with sweat.

Can you place bench photo in post #312; #295? -— or is there not enough identifying background. It often appears in same article as the Central Park photo.
