The local party honchos don't like to talk to Rednecks, and when someone patronizes me I get an uncontrollable urge to smack the crap out of them.

This is the problem, the GOP is viewed by many as a country club for the wealthy, and it is true to some extent. I speak of freedom and they think, "how will this affect this months profits".
