Well - here’s the key sentence in the article as far as I’m concerned....

“Gillette told USA Today that she wasn’t exposing herself. She purposely sat in a window seat and she was holding down her shirt while nursing”

If she’s telling the truth - that she wasn’t exposed, then you’ve got a flight attendant who was out of line.

If she isn’t telling the truth - and she just “whipped it out” Then she needs to just get over it already.

I find it hard to believe that it would even be an issue if she wasn’t exposing herself. Although this was an awfully big kid to be breastfeeding in an airline seat. Perhaps her seat mate was being horribly inconvenienced.

At that age, breastfeeding, if any, is only for comfort and certainly not nutrition. And a two year old should be able to be distracted. It can wait until after the flight or could have been done before boarding. With the size of airline seats these days I can barely get my carry on out from under my seat to find a pencil for my sudoku puzzle much less hold a two year old in nursing position.

Also, I question why it took THREE YEARS to bring this suit!?!
