You can’t drop two trillion dollars down the toilet without devaluing the dollar. We haven’t admitted that the dollar has been devalued, but I don’t believe anyone is fooled. It will not surprise me if people start moving at least some of their holdings into other currencies.
It hasn’t been that long ago that, if you wanted your money in stable currency, you put it in Swiss francs. We might be headed back to those days again.
Why can’t we all just play Cowboys and Arabs?
They are highly invested in us, so if they tank our market, they are tanking their own loans.
Thanks from the Saudis and the other Gulf oil producers to the US for saving their cowardly tails during the two Iraq wars. Nice, eh?

If Goldman seeks to profit by the dollar decline using Americans tax money, that is financial accumen.

Cause and effect. The “stimulus” devalued the dollar, and that made it almost a dead certainty that people will start to diversify out of the dollar. The credit for this goes to Obama, and to the financial imbeciles before him who crashed Fannie Mae etcetera. Thank Frank, Dodd, and the mighty O.
Have you seen the Zero Hedge disclosures on the central banks manipulating the price of gold? China is no doubt getting mad as h with geithner devaluing the dollar.

I absolutely think government sachs is a problem but I did not title the article and I can easily see a huge problem because geithner/bo are indeed devaluing the dollar and I am sure china and the arabs are mad.

Your talking about people that strap bombs to themselves and their children for alah. If they can tank us in this way, it will be just as effective as any bomb or emp weapon.
