Finally, the cat is out of the bag. IMHO the entire Islamic jihad against Israel and the West has been orchestrated from Moscow. Most Muslims can’t find their ass with both hands. They are an illiterate and backward people who are being used and coordinated by the unseen hand of the Russians - that is, until now.

It's a good point, but how would you explain things like the Russian war with Chechnya? Or terrorist atrocities such as Beslan, or the hostage-taking at the theater in Moscow a few years ago?

I don’t think that’s 100% accurate. Yes, I agree Russia has a heavy hand. but the Islamofascists would be muddling through on their own without Russia if they had to. Keep in mind these people have a been a major world warring faction for centuries before Russia horned in.
The Russians were the ones who started the Muslims on the terror path back in the 1970’s. They did it as a way of destabilizing the Middle East so that they would have an excuse to step in, and also as a way of discrediting the West, as Jimmy Carter learned the hard way.
The “Great Game” is being played masterfully by Putin, while our liberals and their conservative courtiers fumble with each other’s zippers. Currently the world’s strategic divide runs north out of Quatar thru Iran and into the Stan’s lands and Mr. Putin is putting the squeeze on it putting Russia in the catbird’s seat.
