Media lie, ”Illegal aliens do jobs Americans won’t do” helps destroy America

One of the enduring lies about illegal aliens is that they do the jobs Americans won’t do. This lie is designed to fool people into believing illegals are just harmless gardeners or drywall hangers who only want to work and fill a need in the labor market that would otherwise go wanting.

Here’s some truth

A recent USA Today article outlined the realities of our sorry employment situation and why efforts to find and deport illegal aliens are a very valuable job protecting step that has to be repeated again and again.

It cites a Vanderbilt University study on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids on workplaces that are notoriously overwhelmingly staffed by illegal aliens concluding they are very beneficial for local legal aliens and native born Americans.

An ICE raid at Swift Meats plant was a case in point. The plant’s illegals were replaced by hundreds of both native Whites and legal Hispanics.

In North Carolina a plant was raided recently. Before the raid its employees were 80% Hispanic illegals now 70% of its workers are African American citizens enjoying good pay and benefits.

A Center for Immigration Studies paper “Jobs Americans Don’t do?” continues the story of how the media and the Democrats distort the truth about the impact of illegal aliens on our workforce.

There are 93 listed occupations with 20% or more of their workers who are immigrants, but more than 23 million native born American citizens work in those occupations. In these “high immigrant” occupations 57% of the American workers have low education levels. Certainly that percentage could be higher were it not for illegals taking America jobs.

The very high unemployment rate (52%) among young people under 24 Blacks and legal Hispanics could be ameliorated with more ICE raids.

Here is a perfect example of what you are talking about. Meat Packing used to be a good paying union job. It is pretty disgusting work so more power to the guys/gals that want to do it. Now meat packing is being done by illegals making half the money the job used to pay.

The reaction of the unions is the scary thing. Instead of fighting illegal immigration the unions are trying to organize factories made up of illegal workers. Doesn't seem the union members got their money's worth from their dues.

Yea, meatpacking plants and some poultry processing plants. Where I live, a poultry plant has operated for more than 50 years with white and black employees, doing work Americans won’t do. A few illegals are around, but nothing like some areas. Still, if for some reason a big influx occurred, they could drive wages down in that plant that has run fine without illegals for 50 years.

And, they’ve driven construction wages down in many areas. Construction was once good paying, and teens and college age kids sought those jobs for summer and year round. Not so good anymore.

Don’t both segregate a class of people? Is not a sign in Spanish as degrading as one that says “Color Only.” Did we just spend over 40 years trying to integrate one race of people, and are now segregating another? One NATION, one Language, One Culture.

Americans are buried in the ME ME ME thing and materialism. Immigrants tend to be more interested in feeding their families. Maybe we should pay the immigrants to teach our poor uneducated masses how to work. That's why they come here, because they know the American worker is to stupid and lazy to do what they would do in a second.

If illegals are all so wonderful why oh why are our jails and prisons filled with them? Could it be that many of them don't come here to work, they come here to be criminals? I know hard working legal immigrants and have known hard working illegals- I also know many hard working citizens and we need to employ first our citizens, then legal immigrants as needed and stop illegal immigration. Americans are not all stupid and lazy, not by a long shot.

No only 53% of them are. I do verify documentation when i hire migrant workers. I always go through a legitimate American business, and request copies of payroll and ability to work legally. I never pick up day laborers. Not once in 15 years. I can’t count the times i have sent an American home because he/she was horrid. I never have done that with a migrant worker.

And for those 53% of the population who are morons, many of them are uneducated and unskilled. They are also democrats. I would hire anyone over a democrat honestly since they tend to be apathetic and entitled. Lets ship out the democrats and let the good migrant workers come here under contract. Deport a Democrat today.

I am all for building the wall all along the border to keep illegals out. As for the crime, yes criminals come here to hide out, only a wall will cut that down. Those aren’t necessarily the same people who I would employ.

Obama wants to make illegals legal by amnesty or thru gubmint healthcare.Once the bamster has healthcare for them it’s in his pocket as far as votes go & illegals will turn automatic Democratic thereby ensuring complete control over all the OTHER lives in this country.

i’ve heard it said this scenario will be the bamster’s jewel in his crown and to he## with everyone else.
