This is an EXPLOSIVE new development in the news!

I was in Saratov in 1999 (one of ten trips to Russia) when I was shown an interesting device - a very small electron scanning-tunneling microscope and images of supposed viruses taken with it. The scientist told me American universities should "hire their scientists to do research in Russia so they would not go abroad and develop weapons for countries like Iran".
If Russia (and they do read this)'s authorities don't round up and prosecute the individuals who were named by the Israelis, they would be implicated in having helped Iran develop nuclear weapons on a national level. -Try to export this sort of technology from the USA and you would be in solitary confinement for the rest of your natural life.

Are you aware your argument is the old “Better Red than Dead” chant of the American Commies back in the Cold War Era.
Given the accuracy of historian Paul Johnson’s “If the American experiment in self government fails, that which will come after will be unspeakably worse.”, it is clear to all that it is better to kill off all opposing us.
PS Such a nuclear war will NOT destroy the world.
PPS Check the stats of the cancers, genetic defects, ad nauseam, which were predicted to afflict the survivors of Hiroshima/Nagasaki. Somebody forgot to memo the cancers and genetic defects, because they have not appeared. Just more commie crap

It's an opinion; I will make it clearer next time when I am giving one.
Having said that, I thought I was stating the obvious. I think you would agree that there is insufficient support in the UN Security Council (where Russia and China hold veto power) to take very strong steps against Iran. We are in the position where we cannot antagonize our much-needed lenders (China, of course) and we cannot bully the one other country that is still outside of our influence (Russia). (It's not Iraq we're talking about here. We cannot simply go into Russia and smack people around as if it was.)
If there are Russians in Iran helping them with nuclear technology and if the Russian government is aware of their presence, any action taken against Iran could antagonize Russia.
If desperate, would Israel take such a step? Possibly. Would we? I don't believe it.

I don’t know. The first Gulf War was pretty expertly waged (if not concluded expertly).

Israel could easily tell Putin/Russia that it has a hardened ICBM with Moscow’s name on it if Iran nukes Israel. Maybe a few other Russian cities too

Netanyahu is laying the groundwork for an attack of Iran's nuclear facilities.
Israel knows they're on their own with Obama in the WH.

Israel could easily tell Putin/Russia that it has a hardened ICBM with Moscows name on it if Iran nukes Israel. Maybe a few other Russian cities too Israel does not have any ICBMs (if it does it never tested them) and I don't think the Israeli would threaten Russia like that knowing the Russians can retaliate very easily - in any case such a threat did not happen - nor would it happen.

Three possibilities regarding this article:
A) This is false intel that Israel is pushing out there through friendly media.
B) This is a true report and Russian scientists are helping Iran but without Russian help - the scientists need a paycheck.
C) Russia is helping the Irans unofficially.
All three scenarios are equally plausible.

So, now, one by one, the Russian nuke scientists helping Iran begin to disappear.....
This strategy should have been in place 5 years ago.

Internet does say Israel has some ICBMs
Anyways one or two Iranian nukes could destroy Israel beyond repair but not beyond retaliation. This is where Israel nukes Moscow in vengeance. I would if I ran Israel

Internet does say Israel has some ICBMs By ICBMs were talking about missiles only not nukes - the delivery system. Israel has not test fired any ICBMs and you really need to test fire those rockets to see if they are working, etc. You can't just build a missile and know it will work without test firing.
The rest of your comments are irrational fantasy land type scenarios.
