Nah, Jay is as pure as the driven snow. Why those 18 to 24 months when he was ripping Linda Tripp to shreds almost every night, I was thinking what a great moral compass he had compared to Letterman.

Sadly, Jay is no moral giant either.

As for Letterman, folks, people mingle with staff members. While that’s generally a lateral type thing, it certainly isn’t against the law to have relations with people in your employ. If both parties were willing, I’m just not going to get worked up over this.

If something of a nature of coercion or abuse were to pop up, I’d have to see it different. I haven’t followed this closely, so if that has been revealed, I’d see it different.

I don’t think he should be canned for this. If it’s been a long time since, I wouldn’t like to see his current marriage broken up over it either.

I’m not a fan of David. I hardly every watch the show, and generally it’s when a Conservative person is the guest. I don’t like to see people torn apart by public outrage that is overblown.

Actually, it is. The way the law is written it assumes that if a person has sex with someone that reports directly to them, it is sexual harassment.

I worked for several large companies (telecoms) that had yearly sexual harassment

It is definitely a thing that puts the subordinate's job in jeopardy when the inevitable break-up comes along; it also has been cited in many sexual harassment cases as something that creates a "hostile work environment" for the other workers, who feel that they have to compete with an immoral situation to get the boss's favor.
