I’m just being paranoid ... downtown mid-day should be just fine

Yes, it should and I can say the same for Detroit. With that being said however, I refuse to go into downtown Detroit for sporting events. The traffic is awful and the crowds are big.

My sister has season tickets to the Red Wings and she doesn't even ask me to attend if there are tickets available because she knows I will turn them down.

I was just given two tickets by my niece and her husband for the Oct. 10 game against the Washington Capitals for my birthday. Face value: $175.00 ea. for the "Legends Club" section of the arena which is a private lounge for select season ticket holders and includes free buffet dinner throughout the game.

I'll probably give them to my neighbors........

I’m looking forward to it anyway - could do much walking around last Christmas but the weather in October is milder ..
