is a sacrifice on behalf of the children of Chicago and the United States Didn't you know it would end up being "for the children"?

A sacrifice? Nah, we are saying it was an extravagance.

It seems terribly rude to tell people it was a sacrifice to visit their city.

First class VIP travel to rub elbows with the hoi polloi in Copenhagen
it's a dirty job, but somebody has to do it...
Thank You for your sacrifice, Michelle, from a grateful nation. Somewhere tonight in Afghanistan, a grateful military troop may whisper a prayer that your noble mission not go unrecognized.

First of all Mrs. Obama, it’s “Oprah and me”.
I am certain there was an opportunity at Princeton to learn grammar.

Sacrifice.. poor baby.. we all know how hard it is, I mean, you have to get out of bed, jump in one of the nicest planes in the world with celebrities, jaunt around Europe, having people wait on you hand and foot. I mean, come on, it is such a tough job, people should really feel sorry for her. Maybe she could find an easier job like working at McDonalds, mowing lawns, being a Wal Mart greeter, selling shoes, who knows, something has to be much easier on her than that tough, exhausting, job she has now.

BREATHTAKINGLY arrogant and self-centered comments from an ‘intelligent’ woman with absolutely NO idea of how she offends....maybe because she doesn’t actually THINK like a hard-working American.

I doubt she rubbed up against any hoi polloi - that’s the little people.
She’s strictly elite all the way.

The hoodies have run out of targets. They need the Olympic tourists to beat up, rob and shoot. Heck, they can shoot starter's pistols with real bullets.
In any event, if Chicago doesn't get the Olympics its racial.

Correct. Most of the promoters I’ve heard talking about the bid always run together “the Olympics and Para-Olympics” in one breath. They talk about how important the second event is, which takes place a few weeks after the Olympics. Then they launch into a sermon on how important it is for handicapped people. They are always looking out for the children, handicapped, etc./s

Oprah's Home in Montecito, California
When you live in a place like that, even a five star hotel is probably a sacrifice.
