If this wasn’t in the breaking news, I wouldn’t know...and now I can start my day with a smirk of approval.
+++++++++++++++

And I hope the smirk of disapproval if the pollsters call...;)

That would make a hilarious SNL skit if they would do it . . . Obama refusing to talk directly to McChrystal, with all of them present, and speaking to him only through Gates. They would do it at the drop of a hat if he was a Republican.
++++++++++++++

Jon Stewart ventured off the plantation the other day and slammed the press for not covering BIG stories that were breaking across the conservative blogosphere...(as an aside isn’t it great that the conservative blogosphere is now BREAKING NEWS and the FMSM is just a bunch of woosy activists?)

Now, if SNL would just take off their partisan hats for two seconds and do this skit...

Oh, who are we kidding - maybe we’ll see it on Pajamas TV? Those guys do some pretty funny skits - have you seen this one?

Yeah, but it’s disconcerting that the REAL poll still is 49-51% and has been down as low as 46%. THAT’S where we need to be.
++++++++++++

Real poll? That 49 is much, much weaker than that 51 - that’s important...and that overall number will drop further.

While this is good news I wouldn’t get too excited. The Strongly Approve figure is unusually low at 28%. The norm is around 30% and it has been varying up and down a couple of points from that value for quite some time. Today it hit the low end of the range. It could easily be 32% in a few days.
++++++++++++++

As people are fond of saying here - the trend, it is our friend...!

It’s unusual that Zero is double-digit negative at mid-week. He usually goes into that territory on weekends. This is positive, I hope it continues...

er, negative...er, I know what you mean!

Doesn’t Soros own Daily KAOS? Last I checked the poll over there has 0bama looking good. So could Soros and obama cronies actually think he is a messiah king loved by all?
++++++++++++++++

Well first of all it’s KOS. Secondly they only poll ‘adults’ which skews the poll also.

They can believe he’s popular, just like they can believe that only ‘thousands’ marched on DC on 9/12.

i.e. you can believe in the facts or you can believe in the fantasy.

I want the overall number to come down too, of course. However, the squishiness of the 49 approve number is clear by looking at the strongly vs. somewhat approve and the solidity of the other number by doing the same thing.

I just disagree with saying REAL poll as if the strongly numbers are somehow not real or helpful. :)

I say that no matter what, the press will inflate his numbers so in actuality he must be dropping a lot lower.

Well, by “real” I mean the poll that virtually all other polling organizations go by. I’ve never liked Ras’s “strongly” characterization and found it to be a way to a) try and get noticed and b) play to conservatives. In the end, if 51% were even mildly approving of O and 49% were strongly disapproving, he’d still win reelection.

Calm down please. You took my entire post wrong.

I am fully aware the polls at the KOS (I was using humor in calling KOS=DAILY KAOS) are bogus.

I was asking what polls the WH looks at daily; mixed in with the above sarcasm which you clearly missed.

No. It definitely made him out to be an ‘empty suit’, from the Japanese perspective. They analyze the essence of power and strength (or lack thereof) very intimately and professionally.
