Last week in Cook County, Illinois, Derrion Albert, 16, was murdered after being in the wrong place at the wrong time as a gang fight broke out. What a tragic death for a kid who had a promising future.
As a father, my heart goes out to his family - I couldn't even imagine what they must be going through.
Unfortunately, Derrion wasn't the only black child killed last week in Cook County - an estimated 159 unborn children of color were also murdered last week - not by street gangs, but by gangs of doctors and nurses.[1] Like Derrion, they had promising futures that were brutally aborted. And like Derrion, they weren't potential humans, or 3/5ths humans, but rather, they were humans with lives full of potential.
Fox News Chicago aired a brutal and graphic video of Derrion's murder. Now that they have set a precedent of showing a brutal killing over the airwaves, it's time for Fox to show how brutal abortion really is.

[1] According to the Illinois Department of Public Health, 22,296 abortions were performed on residents of Cook Count, accounting for approximately 57 percent of all abortions performed on residents of that state.. Based upon published statistics, black women account for 37 percent of abortions. Given these statistics, it is possible to guesstimate the number of black children killed by abortion on weekly basis: ( 22,296 *.37) / 52 = approximately 159.
This video presentation shows a typical after school social interaction between two Chicago community organizations. Generous minimum wage laws have prevented local businesses (there used to be some) from exploiting inner city youth. The Chicago’s community organizers and the socially responsible curriculum of their school system have provided social stability by assuring that its constituents are unlikely to venture elsewhere.
I agree that it’s good it was filmed...it needs to be seen by everyone. Cried through most of this and finally had to stop watching. Just an indication of the loss of regard for human life...no morals....no values....the list could go on and on. I’m appalled and hope these killers are found soon..this is just senseless killing and for all those kids to be standing around yelling just sickens me.

These children (remember they are good boys, just ask their mothers) are in need of guidance. Perhaps the late community organizer and Noble Peace Prize nominee, Tookie Williams, could have taken on this task. Unfortunately he was martyred by the state of California. Imagine the possibilities. Remember what out glorious leader has said: “We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.” One day you will see these fine lads in your neighborhood
I heard on Beck that this poor child was an honors student who just took the wrong shortcut home. I am stunned to see the callous attitude and hear the laughter.
Were some of the kids pulling him to safety to prevent further beating or hiding his body? I would like to think the former is true, but it is probably the latter. From now on I will no longer feel guilty about hurting good kids feelings when I see a group of “yutes” near my car at a stop light with the rolling up of windows and click of my locks.
I really wish praying for these kids would help. But they are not even really human. They are worse than animals who will only kill for food or to protect their young. This is just a really gory video game to them. Shame on their (likely) crack addicted parents for spawning, abandoning, and foisting them upon us.

your reply is comical....fair minimum wage laws have prevented local businesses from “exploiting” the neighborhood youth.........get real, the asinine minimum wage laws have prevented these uneducated, untalented, irresponsible, loafing, gangbanging “youths” from gaining any meaningful employment at all....they will continue to use crime as a means of support or they will go to the mailbox just like momma and auntie, and grandma have done for decades. Please, get these dolts an education, teach them some sense of responsibility, tell them not to knock every girl in sight with children they cannot support, give them a sense of moral responsibility and then maybe......maybe......maybe they can become productive members of society.....and stop blaming everyone and everything else for their lot in life.....pathetic

Sheeesh, reminds me of when certain folks used to stab or cold cock friends and I in the back/head, kness stomach etc. when we were bussed or forced to walk( mostly run) to school back in the 20th century when de-segregation was STILL happening in 1969-1970...I was all of 11 and still own the scars...and then it was a JH( in Broward Co Fla[ was young for the grades I was in]). Granted I’m no racist but when the “gang” menatlity comes out bad things happen...and again no one jumps in to help...they’s always rather watch and scream outrage...nothings changed, nothings changed.

Try reading the article, they do the math.
Do you really think that in a country where we perform around a million abortions a year, 22,000 is some kind of incredible number for one of our biggest cities?

Years ago I read the number of how many blacks were lynched in the South... it was a smaller number than this... much smaller.
