That wasnt my argument. I was responding to a comment that a missile is not “nuclear capable” unless the warhead design has reached a sufficient level of miniaturization. My point was you dont need a sophisticated miniaturized warhead design to make “nuclear missile”. Scud type rockets can easily carry dirty nukes and doesnt matter even if you were a rocket scientist.

Oh, DEFINITELY AGREED.

The MSM (main missile assembly) for the Lance (MGM-52) was the same, regardless of the warhead type. Very little difference in launch procedure, as the only changes were there to accomodate two-man control and nuclear surity.

The nuke warhead (W-70) was lighter, giving that variation much greater range.

Even a turd-world nation could ultimately create an initial nuke design capable of being duck-taped onto a Scud body.
