Iran fired two of the longest-range missiles in its arsenal today ahead of a confrontation with foreign powers over a previously undisclosed secret nuclear facility later this week.
The Revolutionary Guard is reported to have successfully launched a Shahab-3 and a Sejil missile, both of which are capable of carrying nuclear warheads with a range of up to 1,200 miles which would put Israel, most Arab states and parts of Europe, including much of Turkey, within its range.
Iranian television broadcast footage of the Shahab-3 being fired from desert terrain.
Irans war games began yesterday after the revelations about the enrichment plant, at a military base near the holy city of Qom. It dramatically upped the stakes for the meeting in Geneva on Thursday between Iranian representatives and those of the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council plus Germany.

100 mile miss is a tad optomistic. Even a scud was more accurate than that. I would say they can hit close enough with their missiles, besides they have another type missile that has the same range as the Shahab-3. I am not sure what that is capable of.
Duh.
As someone WHO’S ACTUALLY MATED A NUCLEAR WARHEAD TO A MISSILE BODY, I’m not questioning that.
But, again, it ain’t a “nuclear missile” if there isn’t a nuclear warhead on board.
No, I won't bother. You're being obtuse, and nothing I could write would change that.
Go back to feeling cozy with Mahmoud Nukemadinijad.
Oh, DEFINITELY AGREED.
The MSM (main missile assembly) for the Lance (MGM-52) was the same, regardless of the warhead type. Very little difference in launch procedure, as the only changes were there to accomodate two-man control and nuclear surity.
The nuke warhead (W-70) was lighter, giving that variation much greater range.
Even a turd-world nation could ultimately create an initial nuke design capable of being duck-taped onto a Scud body.
Then I assume that you also want to bomb North Korea?
Everything you say is true and it scares me. The wrong people are in power.
