Frankly, I think we should take your thoughts and turn them to use against this healthcare/insurance scam.

The argument goes something like this:
IF you believe that healthcare is a right, and you believe that taxes should be utilized to ensure that everyone in The United States can afford to exercise that right, THEN you must also concede — because it is explicitly stated in the Constitution, whereas healthcare is NOT — that tax money should also be utilized to ensure that everyone in the United States can afford to exercise their right to keep and bear arms. FURTHERMORE, you must concede that tax money should also be utilized to ensure that everyone in the United States can afford to access any and every other right guaranteed under the Constitution; whether expressly enumerated or implied.

Either taxation is a legitimate means of funding access to EVERY Constitutional right, or it is not a legitimate means of funding access to ANY of them. If you object to taxes being used to fund access to even ONE right, then you MUST object to taxes being used to fund access to EVERY other right, as well.

One cannot argue it both ways, yet retain a valid claim to sanity.
