Yeah, in other words, HE KEPT THE AMERICAN PUBLIC IN THE DARK...which is also a joke.

Anyone with a BRAIN knew the Iranians were developing nukes.

Hussein is a farce.

I must share that tinfoil hat with you because I thought this just as soon as I heard it.

Come on...just when the UN is in town it is suddenly discovered that Iran has a second nuclear facility? so Obamer, the admin, decide, well imagine that! We’ll announce it while we have everyone’s attention!

And yeah, I think this was all a planned PR thing.... I mean I was born at night, but not LAST night.

At any rate, I’m not too upset over the stunt as it the sort of thing world leaders do. IF....and this is a big IF...the PR stunt was done just so Obamer could make a believable about-face from that bow-to-the-sons-of-camels posture, love-thine-enemy, sit-down-with-Ahmadinejhad position he put himself in to the tough as nails now that I’ve got your attention position he most definitely should be taking.

But if it’s all a sham....you never can tell with this guy.

Yes and I would like to kindly add that many of us are getting quite tired of being Fact by Max.We are about ready to get a little pay pack for the Max Factoring we have been getting. After all, Max Factor, not us, and he has to take the consequences.

THe next thing you know we will have to deal with Ram Manual Revlon, I mascara that one.

Only Obama could have a country completely surrounded and still be impotent.

Excellent point.

Isn’t it amazing that we have, supposedly, satelites that can read a license plate on a car but can’t find any evidence of Iran building nuke sites?

According to FOX (and I don't remember who's show it was on, darn it), Oboma knew about this since his presidential briefing. My guess is he was hoping no one would mention it until he needed it.

Obomas polls have sunk, and all of a sudden he's saving us from internal terrorists, and alerting us to the dangers abroad.
When Bush prevented internal terrorist attacks, the left claimed he was just using scare tactics. When he warned us about Iran, he was just trying to start trouble around the globe.
Now, the left is doing the same thing.

It seems the timing is too coincidental - everything appeared just when Obomas poll numbers needed it. Praise Allah! Just in time to distract from the Death Care debate.

Is anything in the news these days anywhere near the truth?

“Iranian nuclear site has been under surveillance since 2006. MI6 has been aware that the Iranians were building a secret underground enrichment facility at Qom in Iran for “some months” sources say and played a key role in identifying its use.”

“Sources have said that on this occasion three intelligence services worked together - the CIA, MI6 and the DGSE of France - with MI6 playing a “very big part.”

“In February 2008, further information was gained from a laptop computer slipped out of the country by an Iranian nuclear engineer that contained information said to be inconsistent with “any application other than the development of a nuclear weapon.’’

Everything this Administration does is contrived even 0bama’s smile when taking photos with his minions.

Normal (read smart) people would ask themselves why would this Administration has to be so entirely PHONY.

You don't really even need to understand the why, they are totally and utterly all about propaganda.

Real open reaction to TRUTH will never take place with 0bama - EVER. Its all orchestrated and always will be so.

It will be very clear once Iran drops one of those nukes on Washington or gives them to her terrorist friends to use against us.

Honestly, I believe it’s being coordinated WITH Tehran (yep, that tinfoil hat is getting tight). If Zero can make Iran appear to backdown, it would put Israel in a stalemate. And this is all being done right under the nose of the UN. The other benefit to Zero is that he’ll be viewed as the World Savior.

‘Divine mission’ driving Iran’s new leader
Published: 12:01AM GMT 14 Jan 2006

Still waiting for the so called major US media to report on the fact that nut-jon and the ruling mullahs believe that only a war, one involving entire world, will hasten the return of the 12 imam to rule the earth

It would be much easier to nuke the sites, although deep penetration would still be an issue.

Commandos hand delivering a nuke into the tunnels might be the only way. One way trip for the commandos.

the benefit to Zero is that he’ll be viewed as the World Savior.

It was prophesied over 2000 years ago. Israel was sent a savior, but they rejected him. Along will come another, and it is he they will accept.
They're being set up by this man.

Headline makes no sense...what are tiying to say?

The way the title was posted, the headline was conflated with the sub-head, without punctuation. Read it with a break after "impact" and it's easier to see that "times" is a verb.

"They’re implying that Obama timed his response for maximum impact."

B S. There was not the slightest inclination on obama's part to release this information, and in fact, HE did NOT. He was FORCED to confront it because Iran had already admitted it.

If bam had had ANY intention whatever to go public with this, then there is NO WAY IN HELL he could justify cancelling the missile shields in Poland and the Czech Republic.

This was done according to IRAN's timing.

IRAN'S DISCLOSURE

There had been no plans to go public with the information this week, in the middle of the U.N. General Assembly session in New York City. But Iran revealed the existence of its covert uranium enrichment site to the International Atomic Energy Agency after it discovered the project's secrecy had been breached by Western intelligence.

(Hpw do you suspect Iran "discovered" the "project's secrecy had been breached?")

Officials said the "heavily protected, heavily disguised" facility was not operational, but with about 3,000 centrifuges was a "few months away" from going live.

After Iran told the IAEA, Obama -- along with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and French President Nicolas Sarkozy -- demanded Iran allow international weapons monitors to inspect the facility.

***************************************************

There is a very, very foul odor about this.

It is still unclear whether Iran will bow to international pressure. Some nuclear experts noted that the discovery of a clandestine site suggests that Iran could have many more.

Trying to mislead again...We didn't just find out about Iran's bomb making site...The discovery was that our own gov't has known about it for some time and kept it hid from the American people, and they obviously condoned the construction and operation of it...

If he timed his reponse for maximum impact, he’s dumber that we all tought. Exactly 1 day before, he was sitting on his egomaniacal throne at the presidency of the UN Security Council with every world leader around him talking abut nuclear weapons. Maximum impnact is to wait until the next day?
