How long until Rush Limbaugh or Glen Beck is blamed?

IIRC someone wrote a column yesterday doing just that.

The perps can be hanged for it under both federal and state laws (or fried, or given a last gurney ride, or whatever).

Now under Mingo law they can be simply stripped of their skin an inch wide strip at a time over a long period of time.

So, whatta' ya' prefer ~ federales, state, Mingo?

They never did take kindly to “Revenuers” in the KY & TN hills.

Yep. They make libertarians look like big government people.

Yes and it still could be someone who stumbled upon a field of dope. 3-4 weeks ago would;ve been prime harvesting season in full swing and not a good time to be wandering in the forrest. Those people are deadly serious and this was most likely a warning to the government not to send any more back!

may not be homicide:

also this from Ace of Spades:
Leftwing Media Seems Unduly Eager for Political Violence
—Ace

A census worker was found hanged with the word “fed” carved in his chest on 9/12, the day of the tea parties.

The left is eager pushing this as of course a violent bit of rightwingery all caused by Glenn Beck and our other rabid spokesman.

Confederate Yankee dispels some myths. Including the implication the leftwing media and bloggers wish to advance, that he was killed on 9/12.

No, he was found on 9/12. In a state of advanced decomposition.

And also largely ignored: He was working in a dangerous area filled with drug-dealers. It’s very possible he simply knocked on the wrong door and discovered a meth lab.

The theory postulated by the irresponsible, unvetted, amateur leftwing media is not implausible. It could be the case that this was some demented anti-government weirdo who took the opportunity to kill a “fed.”

But there are many possibilities right now, aren’t there?

But some are very, very eager to see racists, facists, and/or racist fascists behind this, well in advance of any facts.

Consider this your LGF post for the day.

Gotta figger that perps would not leave the duct tape on the body because their fingerprints would be all over it. Sounds to me like this guy’s a sex perv (former boy scout leader) who accidentally died when he choked on the gag. He was doing a Caradine. Maybe he was a suicide, too. His cancer returned. Fingerprints will tell all.

You suppose NRO would be the agency. Why not Homeland Security?I know the technical capability very well. The cameras were developed only a few miles from where I live by men I know personally.

Ask yourself why GPS data is necessary? Why does the government need such a data base? Imagine if martial law were declared and all guns were odered to be seized for example.

Federal authorities would not need the support of local law enforcement to find locations. I believe this data base to be intrusive, unecessary, and supportive of unreasonable search and seizure. It would allow persecution of citizens with ease, just for political expressions they might have made.

I do not believe this data base is as innocuous as many keep advocating. It will be abused to limit the freedoms of Americans.

LOL. I used to think Ellie was hot...I was about 10.

I have family there, what can I say?

All else aside, that was an awful way for that poor guy to go.

I have no opinion on this case. They're not saying it wasn't suicide. Various reports say different things. Maybe he stumbled on a meth lab or a pot farm. More likely an illegal smuggling operation would be my guess.

I'm a proud Redneck and have lived very far out in the boonies. Contrary to popular myth there is very little violent crime and most God fearin' folk know who the criminal idiots are.

Not out of the realm of possibility but paint me skeptical.

Gee, it’s weird that the Associated Presstitutes are suddenly considered reliable reporters by Freepers.

I read the so-called “witness” account and well, uhmmmm.
Why is it being called a witness account?
Did Weaver witness the Census worker being hung? No?

I smell an O’Rat.

Yep, in the boonies. Not too far from Hazard, and we all know the reputation that Hazard maintains. Let’s just say it lives up to it’s name.
