WASHINGTON (AP) - The FBI is investigating the hanging death of a U.S. Census worker near a Kentucky cemetery. A law enforcement official says the word "fed" was scrawled on his chest.
The body of Bill Sparkman, a 51-year-old Census field worker and occasional teacher, was found Sept. 12 in the Daniel Boone National Forest in rural southeast Kentucky.
Investigators have said little about the case.

Thats a lot of trash for one bag.......:o)
If I was the Feds, I would go in with small heavily armed teams, and start destroying marijuana patches as I found them.
After the first few, I'd put out the word that it would continue until a special delivery was made, mostly in one piece, to the door of the local hoosegow.
Amazon wouldn't get the perps there any faster...
There was no thought involved, try again. Something like “I’m an idiot who defends murder.” would be more truthful.
Get lost.
Don’t bother the nutcases with reason, it is anathema to them.
It is amazing how many so-call conservatives consider rural Americans to be murderous scumbags. They make the boonies sound more dangerous than the Chicago ghetto.
There is virtually NO chance this was drug related or anything other than the act of a lunatic.
I won’t hang out with you.
Oh my, my heart is not broken. Drop dead.
I’ll leave you to defend murderers and lunatics since you like them so much. I much prefer the company of the law-abiding.
If you only had a clue, you would go back and eat each of your words. I won’t bother to explain, as I doubt you’re worth the effort.
Have a nice evening....
Right I’m the one acting as if this act can be defended for any reason. It cannot and has nothing to do with anything a conservative would do.
Are we all done bonding? I was just beginning to feel as though you were warming up to me.
I do sincerely hope that you had a wonderful day, I sure did. I let my 26 chickens out to range and they had a ball. They make me laugh with their antics.
It didn’t rain here today and it was 60*, so the fresh smell of the evergreens was strong and it mixed well with the ocean air.
I played ball with my dog for what seemed like a couple of hours and after he had a good rest, I took him for a run around the property. He chased a deer back into the woods, then we took the ATV to the orchards and picked a few apples and pears. The Gravenstein apples are just about perfect at this time of year. After we picked a few wild blackberries, we headed to the neighbors to see how his chicken coop project is coming along. It’s a small 8’x8’ coop, but that’s all he needs for his few hens. The project looks nice and should be done within the next day or two. I picked a few of his blueberries to go on my cereal tomorrow and headed home.
We are the process of buying a new Airstream travel trailer, so I climbed onto my tractor and started clearing a place to park it. I’ll put in water and power lines next week after I have had a chance to put the hoe back on the tractor. Using a 55 gallon barrel shot full of holes with my 22 rifle, and some drain rock, I put in a small dump station. Then I’ll build a fire pit, cut benches out of some old log ends, and presto, my own campsite.
We love traveling and have used one of my Harley’s for cross country trips over the the past few years, but as I get older... we have decided that having the comfort of an Airstream would be the best for us.
My wife bought a huge cedar filled pillow for my German Shepherd dog. He’s never had one of these, so I was quite surprised as to how quick he fell in love with it and somehow knew it was his.
My wife is giving the dog a bath as I type this. I can’t help her because as soon as I am done here, I have to bury two more bodies under my house. You see, Sunday is “lynching day” up here on the mountain.
Perhaps someday you will bother to read my followup posts on this thread and realize that my first comment was meant to be a wisecrack and nothing more. Then, my fist post to you was meant to echo the tone of your first post to me.
I don’t think you deserve any explanation from me, but you have made it clear that you are too stupid to figure it out on your own.
Well, that’s enough bonding for me, so you go have a good evening and try not to worry too much about how many folks I may be lynching out behind the barn.
i think he did himself...
Oh, how funny it is to “wisecrack” about the murder of innocent Americans. Without such “wisecracks” how can one’s day be complete. Your apology to the dead man’s family is accepted and hopefully such UNwisecracks will not come from your mouth. I’ll bet you were wisecracking all over the place when you heard about Tim Tebow getting hurt.
However stupid I may be I do not make idiotic remarks about the murder of the innocent.
Screw off, moron.
Ah, dropping the flowery rhetoric and returning to your original state of absurdity. You certainly have covered yourself with glory.
Actually, you bore me.
Have a nice life...
bye
Right. That is why you continue to respond to my boring posts.
