I hope they don’t get Zelaya to the US embassy. He needs to stay at the Brazilian embassy and be tormented until he caves and goes away.

Could you please give a little bit more detailed explanation of what’s going on. They are trying to get Zelaya to a US embassy where?

Is it part of Zero's plan to foment problems in Honduras? I thought Zelaya was properly removed under the country's constitution.

If we are siding with the likes of the despot Chavez, etc., we have to be on the wrong side.

If true, that story should bring the Obama Regime’s abysmal treatment of our democratic allies to the attention of millions more Americans.

Still, I hope that it is a false report. I hope that the USA has not stooped so low.

I saw them, too. Those are big suckers. Metallica and Ozzie Osbourne will sound really good on them. Did you see the metal fence they have installed around the embassy compound? Gee, it’s starting to look like a...prison.

Thanks for this latest report.

Sadly it is clear that the Honduras government is going to be forced to intervene with military force to capture the commie before Clinton and Obama lovers get their protective hands on him.

People of Honduras! We are with YOU not with the communists in charge of US Policy!

Do NOT let this COMMUNIST GO FREE!

Zelaya is holed up in the Brazilian embassy in Tegucigalpa. He was snuck back into Honduras.

It sounds like the US embassy is offering to accept him. In Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

According to a News Service that Dare Not Speak Its Name:

Honduras’s deposed President Manuel Zelaya probably received help from a South American country to sneak back into Tegucigalpa yesterday, said Carlos Lopez Contreras, Honduras’s interim foreign minister.

Zelaya, who appeared unexpectedly at the Brazilian embassy in Tegucigalpa yesterday after he was overthrown and expelled in June, probably got into the country in a car that had diplomatic license plates, Contreras said today in a telephone interview. He declined to say which country provided assistance.

“He couldn’t have gotten in without logistical and financial support, possibly from a South American country or various South American countries, and without a doubt the cooperation of a Central American country,” Contreras said. Honduras’s acting President Roberto Micheletti had vowed that Zelaya would be arrested if he set foot in the country, and yesterday decided to no longer recognize the Brazilian mission in Honduras, stripping the building and its occupants of diplomatic protection. Even so, the order to enter the embassy building hasn’t been given, and the interim government is requesting that Brazil hand over Zelaya, Contreras said.

The purpose of getting the would be President for Life to the US Embassy in Honduras is to protect and preserve the future Marxist dictator so he eventually can take over Honduras.

The slime bag Jimmah Carter used the US security agencies to protect the Ayatollah Khomeini and the Muslim terrorist organization he led from the Shah of Iran for exactly the same result.

Protection in the US Embassy would fraudulently allow 0bama to justify use of force against Honduras.

And see this:

Giving Honduras the Cold Shoulder [Trey Hicks]

Late Sunday night, the United Nations issued its Monday Journal, which lists the heads of state who are addressing the opening of the 64th U.N. General Assembly on Wednesday. Tucked in between Colombia and Russia is Honduras — but the legitimate president of Honduras will not be speaking. The U.N., a majority of whose member states are not “fully free” (according to Freedom House), has invited the ousted would-be dictator of Honduras, disgraced former president Manuel Zelaya, to deliver the address.

This is an outrageous decision, but don’t expect President Obama to stand up for justice and the rule of law. As NR’s Jay Nordlinger recently pointed out, Obama has decided to revoke the visa of Honduran president Roberto Micheletti, preventing his entry into the United States. Obama apparently feels more comfortable sharing a cappuccino in the U.N. Delegates Lounge with a deposed Chávez acolyte than with its authentic, constitutionally legitimate president.

Why is the leader of the free world choosing to “take a stand” against the democratic, pro-American Honduran government? And why doesn’t he have the moral courage to take stands against the world’s most oppressive regimes, such as those in Iran, North Korea, and Burma? Shouldn’t Obama be denying visas to the real enemies of Lady Liberty?
