Many of the illegals have left the cities and are now working for the cartels in the rural areas where they’re growing dope.
Crime sure isn’t down in my rural California county, it’s all the Sheriff can do to keep up with the aliens.

And many more have left the country...Fact is, illegals were hired by the ton during great times, especially in the construction industry, where there are lots of greedy unscrupulous contractors....(I really dislike those AHs) Construction has been down, and that that has really affected the numbers of illegals.

I personally hope construction and new development stays down. It's not needed anyway.

But just remember, crime in Southern California has been dropping for about 10 years now, long before the economic down turn started 3 years ago.
