I might agree with you since I thought it was Levin who talked to the MSM and I didn’t like that. Can’t approve of Beck doing it either, but if he’s talking about McCain...is that really trashing your own? I wish McCain would go away already.

I don’t agree with Beck. I think Obama is far more dangerous than McCain. Even if Obama’s main plan is thwarted and we don’t see a massive move toward all-out socialism, Obama is placing his communist minions into all levels of every government agency, where they will be impossible to ferret out. Many of these minions will be with us causing severe destruction to our culture and freedom for decades to come.

I do appreciate what Beck means. The Socialists have been steadily winning for over 40 years through incrementalism. They kept the water boiling low and the frog was toasty and warm, getting downright hot.

They are being greedy. Incrementalism was working perfectly, steadily and all but guaranteed our transition to socialism. Obama’s massive, transparent power grab is waking many Americans and his over-reaching is running the risk of a dedicated backlash that could set socialism back decades. This is a serious possibility.

So I understand what Beck means, I just don’t agree with it. Obama’s brazen over-reaching is good for waking up the people, but he is going to do a hell of a lot more damage to us during his single term in office than mere idiot RINO McLame would have done.

Only once that I know of.

He read the darn thing, word for the word, he should have credited the source. And actually it’s a source that deserves attention.

For all I know it happens more, but I just let it slide (though I did email the big guy asking him to put it right and he didn’t)

Soured me for a day but ultimately I decided I enjoy him too much to tune him out.

As far as I know he has not changed on that which is why I am surprised he is calling himself a Libertarian lately given the way he shredded them during the Immigration Battles.

Glenn is correct in this light - McCain, with his liberal-progressive views and ridiculous LUST for media acceptance, would have made huge changes in federal government largess that would have been longer lasting, if not permanent. He is not a conservative and he would have done nothing positive for the Reagan-Republican conservative movement. McCain policies would have NEVER BEEN ENOUGH for the radical left and his constant compromises with liberals (McCain-Feingold, Immigration Reform) would have almost certainly pissed off all true conservatives (Rush & Levin & Hannity). Neither the left nor the right would have been happy. A McCain victory would NOT have inspired Tea Parties or the 912 rally in Washington, DC, or created a public environment whereby 1,000,000+ copies of Mark Levin’s “Liberty & Tyranny” was sold; Obama, not by design, is rapidly accelerating the education and understanding of conservative values, principles and passions around the globe. If McCain would have been elected, America would not currently be experiencing the “Great Awakening” and the re-founding of our nation’s core constitutional principles would not be in progress at near the speed it is today. McCain’s moderate-progressive policies would have been detrimental to the United States, idiotic global warming policies would have already been passed into law, and the country would still be speeding towards economic ruin. Obama, not McCain, represents a Marxism-Fascism “flu shot” for the American people and an education about freedom for the entire world. Team Obama, if dumped by the good, decent, conservative U.S. citizens after one term, will have unintentionally awakened the “Sleeping Giant” and saved this country for another generation. God Bless America.

I’d like to see a show of hands. How many of you actually watched the video of Beck and listened to the audio of Mark? From reading all these comments, I’ll bet most of you haven’t bothered.

To the MSM McCain is a conservative, thus making Beck betray one of his own in favor of Hillary. Beck should know better. I mean, I like what he’s been doing, but I have a big feeling his mouth is going to get him into big trouble if he’s not careful.

Well then, people should flood his email box and twitter with objections then and tell him to knock it off, if he does that.

BTW, here is the the one I was talking about

http://market-ticker.denninger.net/archives/1376-A-Shout-Out-To-The-National-Talk-Shows.html

I figured the talk show host was just in a hurry but I was surprised he didn’t fix the commission the next day.

Ok. I’ll play (for a little while).

1) What, exactly, has Beck stolen from other hosts, according to you?

2) How, exactly, has Beck shown himself to be other than a decent man, according to you?

“Exactly. We may have been sliding slowly towards socialism under ‘get along’ McCain. But at least we wouldn’t have been driven at warp-speed into communism abyss that we have now.”

Totally agree.

“On the other hand, that next revolution thing would have probably been postponed for a decade. That might not have been a good thing, now that I think of it.”

I still think it would happen. McCain as President can stop a lot of things but with the Dems having a filibuster proof senate and huge House majorities they still would have been able to accomplish a lot of damage.

Of course we would have had the benefit of having a friendly WH on our side as well. And we would have had the added benefit of having Palin in the WH.

(PALIN / BECK 2012.)

Are you series? Beck dis's her running mate and you support him? McQueeg is a RINO I want gone but Beck shouldn't be supporting Repube detractors. He's the one initiating all this.

Beck has taken sections from Mark’s book and other comments and did a rip off from Bernie Goldberg last week.
It is a patern with Beck.
If he wants to use items or ideas from others, the correct thing to do is state where you got it not let people think this is your idea or thoughts.

As far as ACORN, many others have been on this long before Beck. It is fine he is doing this but some on FR think this is new thanks to Beck when I have been following this long before Beck jumped in.

Big mistake to go down this road. We shouldn’t be fighting each other in the public forum. It’s what the media wants. Geez, Mark.

You are dead wrong.

Everyone knows I have been the most stalwart defender of Glenn on this forum for a long time, but this statement by Beck is beyond cringeworthy...

"I can’t believe I’m saying this, I think I would have much preferred (Hillary) as president and may have voted for her against John McCain,"

That is just f-ed up. Levin is on the Mark.

I agree with you about McCain, but I have opted to pick the lesser of two evils (what other real choice is there?). Point being, we would not now be in fear of being nuked by Zero’s Muslim terrorist buds had McCain won instead. At least McCain was pro-military and pro-strong national defense. And he probably wouldn’t have gone out of his way to alienate all of our allies as Zero has.

I also don’t believe this socialized/government-run healthcare would be an issue under McCain, nor would Cap & Trade, or government takeover of banks, auto industry, and everything else under the sun that’s happened and is still happening under Zero.

So no. I believe I was right to hold my nose and vote for McCain. As bad as he is, he still doesn’t pose as much danger to this country as Big O does. To the point that we may not survive until the ‘next’ Presidential election.

So if Glenn Beck did in fact say McCain would have been worse than Obama, he and I disagree.

I’ve listened enough of Beck to know what he meant. He believes that with McCain the move left would have been more gradual and that there wouldn’t have been the pushback that Obama is getting./

The FIRST part of what Beck said backs you up. But the SECOND part of what he said (regarding supporting Hillary) has nothing to do with it, and is unacceptable.
