Agreed, but I find it somewhat funny that they took the ‘pimp’ seriously. I mean with those sunglasses and fur coat, it looks like a costume. Did you see the part where the Acorn worker was trying to ‘nicely’ give some dressing hints to them should they meet with the president of the bank for a loan.
I don’t think he wore the pimp outfit when meeting with the Acorn people. There’s footage of him and the girl going into an Acorn building and he just looks like a garden variety preppy (remember that his line was that he was going to run for congressman). I think he only wore the pimp getup on the street, kind of as a joke. If he was wearing the fur coat, sunglasses, pimp hat and cane to the those meetings, then suddenly the Acorn story that they knew what was up and were just playing along becomes more more credible. But I don’t think that was the case.
