That little “tickle” you felt on your forehead just now, Michael, is the kiss you get from me. The little “rush” you felt was a gentle hug. Preach it, Michael, teach it.
If it came from me, no one would listen. Now, you can take the lead and get the message out there. I’ve waited 40 years for someone else to take up where I and my family left off. Go with God, Man. Put the sick dog down and let’s roll up our sleeves and get it right.

Isn't that the truth!?! It has been so painful to watch all our hopes and dreams go down the drain with “The Great Society”. It still makes me physically sick to my stomach to think about it. I see beautiful faces, lives and minds destroyed and twisted into some hate-filled zombies and I literally cry. I'll never forgive the true racists who destroyed a beautiful dream. They killed it before it every took flight.

We need to hear more from this Michael Steele. This is the best I’ve heard him in quite some time. Still not donating anytime soon until all the GOP starts fighting back against this crap.

What Mr. Steele has to say is very true. The sad thing is a neighborhood generally has to hit rock bottom before it begins to revive and by that time, a lot of the infrastructure has to be rebuilt. It's happening here.
I also think that education among the disadvantaged needs to include things like "how to run a business" so that young idle hands can earn a living honestly rather than starting an enterprise that will land them in jail.

I’ll say it now, as I said it before. Mr. Steele is a quick study and the one who has the gravitas to get it done. Unless and until we start to think as a united country of Americans and act in our best interests together without the stupid race issue, we’re going to get sucker punched every time. We need all principled minds working together as a unit to defeat our enemies abroad and internally. The first place I can think of to start is the separatists and facists in the black communities, it’s got to stop.
To: Qwackertoo
The second place is with the criminals in ACORN — white and black. They have robbed this nation of its dignity through the RICO violations and pray on those who are least able to defend themselves. I've watched them encourage the most counter-productive behavior imaginable and then grieve for those who are so ignorant they can understand why it's happening.

“...who are so ignorant they can understand why it’s happening.” Should be “...who are so ignorant they can’t understand why it’s happening.”
To: Biggirl
Precisely. We have won the issue if this is where they are. Now we need to administer the coup de grace to this ridiculous evil administration.

Congrats Mr. Steele, good for you! Not been your biggest fan, but you just gained points in my book.I know! Sounds like the guy is growing a pair. [finally] Good for him. I can honestly say I'm proud of him. I hope he keeps it up.

As somebody said here yesterday, just remind whoever brings it up that “Your race card reached it’s expiration date in November 2008”

Steele has certainly grown into the job;
Unlike so many politicians when they reach a position of influence.
He is one of the few republicans we see starting to step up to the plate;
even though it feels like we are into the final innings.

Racism exists in those who feel that a black President is so inept they have to play the race card to cover his incompetence.
