Mark Levin was asked in an email today by Politico.com who has more influence, Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh. Mark's answer was clear (hear the brief audio at the jump).
The only thing missing when Mark said it was this music playing in the background...

I was just stating that I use to watch Rush and that I don't think Mark would be a good choice for TV.

When did Beck push for Amnesty for illegals??? ever???
To: rodguy911
Well, I have to ask, did you listen to him in the 90’s? It was during Waco and Ruby Ridge, the guy was energetic and crazy. It was fun to listen to.

This is a very long thread. I usually try to read all comments so I don't duplicate an already stated opinion. But it is late..so I'm breaking my own rule.
I am at work when Rush and Beck are on. But I keep up with what is being said and done. I listen to Levin on my long commute home in the evening.
IMHO, Rush is a ground breaker, a leader. Beck has done some excellent work and making a huge name for himself. I love the knowledge and fire that Mark contributes.
I was disappointed that Levin took the bait. Through loyalty or for whatever reason.
We all fight on the same team, and united these folks are unbeatable (as are we).
The ratings war need to be retired. That's what it boils down to. But we are fighting a very big battle. I am disappointed.

I lost her when she kept going off the air for weeks at a time, supposedly due to contract disputes...and then with her bizzare adoption of an hispanic child, w/o the beneift of proving "the dad" first. Yet she's so into promoting conservative Christian values? You ought to be ashamed of yourself.
Laura adopted a 3 year old child from Guatemala. Just what kind of life and chance for adoption did that little 3 year old girl have?
I support families 100% but Laura may have been the only chance for that little girl to have a stable home, health, education and a mommy. Shall we send her back to an orphanage for God knows how long in hopes someone with a daddy comes along?

Tammy Bruce is as ANNOYING as hell! Ummm. ehh, umm, ehh, umm - her endless sarcasitc "inlections" are extremely annoying to me...even though she's referring to libs most of the time. Unlistenable, IMO.

Spot on. You’ve just sold a million books and you’re worrying about whether Glenn Beck has a ghostwriter? Doesn’t look real good.

IMO, Beck threw Hannity a bone, to spread the wealth around. Anti-Obama style!

That's because they are both from NY. Anyone not from NY is, well, beneath them. Not true. Mark is from Philly and his bunker is in VA (IIRC)
Mark is fiercely loyal to Sean H and I think he's been sniping at Beck to protect Sean's slot.

I don’t think this guy knows who Glenn Beck is.
Perhaps he thinks he’s on MSDNC.

We all fight on the same team, and united these folks are unbeatable (as are we). Amen.
The fact of the matter is that Rush could never have called for activism. His listeners were already being pegged as mind-numbed robots. It was given to him to teach and inspire.
While Rush's humor is sharp and cynical, Glenn's is just flat out wacky. He also pulls people in emotionally and connects on a much more personal plane than the rest.
Levin is brilliant. He explains legalities and history in a way that I probably couldn't have quite grasped had I not cut my teeth on Rush first. And he yells at people, when I'm in the mood to yell, I enjoy that.
They are all so necessary. I really hope this blows over without factions forming.

Mark....the problem is, you and Glenn are a lot alike. You both are passionate about this country.
Right now our country needs both of you and working together with Limbaugh and Hannity would probably take down the thugocracy we have in DC right now.

"Beck is ok for light listening. But hes just not anywhere near levin or rush for intelligence. Ive never been able to get through an entire show of glenn beck...a little too silly and a little too loopy. I still like him though. For about 45 minutes."
I agree......but I can only watch about 6 minutes.
Beck is reading good stuff and saying good things......but he's a mormon.
Can't get that outta my mind.
To: Dianna
SO I'm not allowed to have an opinion in YOUR world, Lady Dianna? Makes me suspicious you're working for the other team. Yes, I SAY leave the kid where it is, until you form a proper family to raise her in America. I suppose you're for homo couples adoptions, as well, "for the good of the third-world child??"
Get lost.

Well said, far better than I did.
And that is why we need all of their voices in unison.
