Crash Victims In Washington County Flown To Hospital
CLAYSVILLE, Pa. -- A head-on crash in Washington County sent five people to the emergency room Tuesday night.
Police say a man driving a pickup truck had just proposed to his female passenger and was leaning over to kiss her when the vehicle drifted into oncoming traffic.
A pickup truck traveling westbound on Route 40 crossed into the eastbound lanes near Cunningham Road, colliding with an oncoming car, authorities said.

Four of five people injured in the crash were flown to area hospitals. LifeFlight helicopter flew one of the four victims to Allegheny General Hospital.
Their identities and conditions were not immediately known.

5 injured in head-on collision in Donegal

Donegal Township police said five people were injured Tuesday evening in a head-on collision on Route 40 west of the Claysville exit of Interstate 70.
According to a reporter at the scene, police said the driver of a pickup truck traveling west leaned over to kiss his fiancee before the accident occurred. The truck collided with an oncoming car, which carried four occupants.
Three of those occupants and the driver of the truck were transported to area hospitals by medical helicopter. The passenger of the truck was taken away in an ambulance.
