That was a bit strange for me, but it was funny! Really, Patrick was good in any movie, in my opinion. Roadhouse and Point Break were my favorites too. Also enjoyed him in “The Beast”. He was a tough one until the very end but had a heart of gold.

He was great in so many movies and The Outsiders is one of my all-time fave flicks without a doubt. Copolla nailed it in every way, especially in regard to casting and adaptation from book. Swayze played the role of of the paternal Darrel Curtis flawlessly and I was always taken aback by his “screen presence” in that film since like the ladies, the camera loved that chiseled face. But alas, “leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day...Nothing gold can stay.” Rest in peace.
