Sitting here in my DC hotel room this morning and received the Hotel's USA Today newspaper and took a look through the front page section.
Guess What! The USA Today didn't even have any story on the Washington Tea Party.
Can you imagine that! No story.
The Newspaper media is wondering why their readership is declining its obivious that they are the Obama Media department and they work for the Democratic party. Can you imagine that 1,500,000 people attended a rally in DC to wake up the politicians and they USA Today doesn't cover it.
I guess we have the Axelrod controlled media.
So today I will stop reading the USA Today when traveling at hotels.
Maybe we need to show the USA Today some pictures of the event. I bet there are some Freepers here who can show them that there were at least 50 or 60 of us that showed up in DC.
I used to be a subscriber of the Kansas City Star (Falling Star)newspaper but dropped my 25 year subscription last October 1st, 2008.
FOX had a segment on that this morning with young Johnathan Krohn (14 yo and future POTUS!). Newspapers aren’t reporting on this is very telling.
I’ve made it a practice to make a point that I don’t want the USA Today on my bill. The usual response is that it’s free. My retort is that USA Today is $1 on my bill. If they want my reservation, remove it.
Ditto that!!
I am not trying to defend the leftist rag, but they did have some coverage, at least on the internet, “Tens of thousands rally in D.C. against federal spending”. I haven’t bought a USA Today in years, so I have no idea if the story was in a print edition.

If you want to get yourself really worked up read some of the comments following the story.

USEless TODAY does not publish Sunday, so Monday is their first chance to report. I don't see anything on their website either (holding nose as I scroll thru website).
What would I line my rodent cage with? How would I wrap my fish? Where would my puppy relieve itself?
In the future, when booking a hotel room, I’ll ask if USA Today comes with the deal. If the answer is yes, I’ll find another hotel. (I already only stay, if possible, at hotels that carry the Fox News channel!)
What is USA Today? I have never seen one.
The circulation of USA Today is shown below from an article dated 4/27/09. What they don;t say is what is the PAID circulation.
“MCLEAN, Va., April 27 /PRNewswire/ — USA TODAY remains the top-selling newspaper in the United States, according to the latest Audit Bureau of Circulation report. USA TODAY’s daily circulation was 2,113,725 for the period ending March 31, 2009.
USA TODAY is the only newspaper with more than 2 million in print circulation with a total that’s 24% larger than the Wall Street Journal and is twice as high as the New York Times.
“USA TODAY is proud of our position as the only newspaper in the country with over 2 million in print circulation, selling more than 400,000 copies per day than our nearest competitor the Wall Street Journal,” said Susan Lavington, senior vice president of marketing for USA TODAY. “We credit this success to our unique brand of relevant, ‘What does it mean to me’ journalism that covers the full breadth of our shared American interests.”

Think of all the trees that are wasted as we all throw these out when staying at hotels. Day after day. Where are all the earth huggers on this? /s
They don’t have a Sunday paper.
Unfortunately it’s one of the few rags with increasing sales, albeit very small.
Do they?
” What would I line my rodent cage with? How would I wrap my fish? Where would my puppy relieve itself? “
That’s blatant cruelty to rodents, fish, and puppies — expect to hear from PETA any moment, now.....
Even, if I don’t get a small amount deducted for not wanting the USALIES TODAY, our side wins when we say no.
However, it is amazing how many motels and hotels will deduct a charge for refusing USALIES TODAY.
A google check can reveal a lot about where reporting priorities are. Take the “million man march.” This link is from a crowd estimate in excess of 800,000. There is a photo, not nearly as vast as Saturday’s crowd. I didn’t even bother to check how many stories and pictures appeared in “USA Yesterday” about that event.
The lamestream media is trying their best to spike this story but they cannot keep 2 million people in DC a secret.
Have any of you noticed that most liberal “newspapers” a shrinking in size? I know for a fact that the “Des Moines Register” has shrunk in width by about 3 inches.
