Yep, I used to interview prisoners in the state pen. Murderers, rapists. Not one of them were guilty, they were all entrapped. Every single one was innocent.

I’m with you. If there is any hope for our republic, every red-blooded and able-bodied American should be ready and willing to descend on Baltimore to tear the place apart if those corrupt clowns pursue this.

I dont want to be anything close to adamant because I’m not a lawyer, but I do believe the law in question is a telecommunications law. It applies to “oral communications” e.g. phone conversations and “electronic communications” (obviously not videotaping).
I believe the prosecutor is just trying to intimidate. Real professional. NOT.

RE :”
So you say the voice recording of a camera is different, good one, maybe you could get the supreme court to buy it.”
I didn't say this, Its the voice recording that I said was illegal. There is an out for voice recording crimes I seem to remember. But the part about disclosing the recording to FNC might be the part they try to move on.
In any case this is political poison for Obama.

Obama likes prancing around being important...but he seems to really dislike people knowing about his “accomplishments” and personal history, as evidenced by his refusal to let the public access his school records et al.
Are they ignoring the actions to aid and abet prostitution?
Or are these being investigated as well?

Analysis of Maryland interception law done at time of Linda Tripp/Lewinsky controversy:
www.rightgrrl.com/tripp/woods.html
I cannot vouch for the accuracy of the article, whether or not there are Maryland cases interpreting the statue, or whether the statute has been amended since the article was written. But there are a number of legal wrinkles, such as, what is an intercept, what is an acquisition, etc., that make the legal issue unclear in this context(at least to me, a retired lawyer).

Can you say “Jury Nullification”?
It would be against good public policy to convict.

So the question is whether oral communication includes videotape. It would make sense that it did in this case. They were certainly communicating orally.
To: Zoe Brain
It would be nice for these two heroes not to have to face a jury...the costs would be ruinous, even if they could be assured of an acquittal, especially if felony charges were filed.

If they do prosecute they would be insuring that this becomes the story that destroys ACORN. Most of the media has been able to ignore the story up to this point. A public trial with all of ACORN's dirty laundry being exposed and the idiots caught on tape having to take the stand and testify would be hard for the media to cover(up).
I would bet the states attorney office has already gotten a call from the ACORN agitator Obama (President O'Acorn) to just let this blow over. I doubt if they really think they can keep these videos from being played. They will treat it like they did today's protests. Ignore it, downplay it, marginalize it, let Fox News and talk radio be the only ones to talk about it. Just a few bad people like the ones that already got caught in all of the other ACORN fraud cases. That's their story and they'll stick to it.
