In Ancient Rome, a senator once proposed that all slaves be dressed in brown so they could be identifiable.

The idea was voted down on the logic that if the slaves knew what their actual numbers were, they would revolt ... quickly.

Very interesting. By the same token, we see pro-Obama news undercounting by a factor between 10 and 100 the number of people at the rally so that the rest of the pro-Obama folks in the U.S. won’t realize how vastly outnumbered they are as well as to prevent the rest of the anti-Obama, anti-statist population from getting a clear idea of their own numerical strength.
