Is it true that they shutdown the roadways and quit letting people in?

May have been posted:

“Here are some video highlights that I just shot at the big 9/12 Taxpayer Tea Party March in DC. Crowd estimates are varying widely, but it’s safe to say it’s by far the largest gathering of grassroots small-government folks I’ve ever seen in my 15+ years living in DC.

Not since I stood in line all night long on the Mall with tens of thousands of other proud Americans to view President Reagan’s casket in the Capitol’s Rotunda have I felt more hopeful that people on our side really care passionately about what happens in Washington.

Anyway, here’s the video. No swastikas, counter-protesters or profanity to edit out – it’s a very peaceful crowd full of proud, yet very concerned, Americans who are just exercising their First Amendment rights.”

I don’t know about shutting down the streets because there were too many, but obviously the streets were shut down for the march. What I can tell you is that we got there about 10:20 and they were already marching. They weren’t suppost to start until around 11:30. So, we squeezed our way in the middle—and I do mean squeezed. We were guessing they just went ahead and started marching because there were too many people at the “starting point” and they have over-flowed into the streets. If they had waiting to start the march at 11:30, it wouldn’t have been over until well past the 1:00 time we were suppose to end up at the Capitol where other speakers were scheduled to speak. I’ve never seen anything like it! We couldn’t even get cell phone signals a lot of the time.
