FNC just confirming it was a training exercise and NO shots were fired.
Dis that exercise include a fly-over by a Coast Guard helicopter too?

Saw that part *live* with my own eyes just a few minutes ago from here (remote controlled camera on top of building):

This needs to be posted in it's entirety before the stupidity is flushed down the memory hole:

The Coast Guard is denying a CNN report that it fired 10 rounds at a "suspicious vessel" in the Potomac River.

CNN reported that the Coast Guard had fired the rounds at a boat in the Potomac. According to the Coast Guard, however, it was a training exercise conducted in the Potomac moments before President Barack Obama's motorcade crossed.

D.C. Harbor Patrol also said that the incident was a training exercise. There was a simulated radio call about shots fired, but no actual shots were fired, one official said.

A temporary restricted zone had been set up on the river due to the Pentagon 9/11 ceremony, according to CNN.

That sure sounds like Barbara Streisand. Moments before the motorcade crossed???
