I really feel we need to set aside a thread to THANK Joe Wilson!!
Joe singlehandedly spoke up AGAINT these despicable LIES of President Obama last night!
Whether or not you feel it was the appropriate place for him to speak out or not, he DID say what most of us were thinking while listening to the President spew out bold faced LIES.
Joe Wilson's website has been down since last night! Let's use FreeRepublic right now to say THANKS!!

Thank you Joe. The truth is important. Unfortunately, many have forgotten that. And old quote, ‘truth forever on the gallows, evil (wrong) forever on the throne’. You took a step in helping to reverse that quote. God bless you.

If the President is allowed to state people lie at that meeting then you have every right to state he lied as well. Of course we know he did and does with every breadth he takes.

I feel that it was the MOST appropriate place for the heartfelt expression of everything I had been feeling while watching that speech.
I understand the apology afterward. I respect that.
What is important to me is how I felt at that moment. For months, I’ve been worried and afraid at how little we heard from our representatives on The Hill that actually reflected what WE, THE PEOPLE think and feel. The strength of his outrage, even spontaneous in nature, gives me hope that we are not unheard.
Thank you, Joe! You were saying what all of us were thinking! If I had been there, I would have been yellin’ right along with you.
