I feel that it was the MOST appropriate place for the heartfelt expression of everything I had been feeling while watching that speech.
I understand the apology afterward. I respect that.
What is important to me is how I felt at that moment. For months, I’ve been worried and afraid at how little we heard from our representatives on The Hill that actually reflected what WE, THE PEOPLE think and feel. The strength of his outrage, even spontaneous in nature, gives me hope that we are not unheard.
