Why some Van Jones friends are happy about exit (You don't know ? Think again...)

WASHINGTON – Perhaps you think the Van Jones appointment as a White House czar was an aberration and, now that he is gone, America will never hear from him again.

Think again.

His biggest fans and closest friends tell a much different story.

For instance, Don Hazen, executive director of the Independent Media Institute, a "progressive" alternative media outlet heavily funded by the likes Teresa Heinz Kerry's Tides Foundation and the Carnegie Corporation, says Jones' talents were actually wasted in the position of "green jobs czar" Barack Obama gave him.

He calls Jones "arguably the most effective communicator in Democratic and progressive politics – and yes, that includes Obama." He didn't like that he was in a position where he would "have to control his tongue, and in many cases shut his mouth."

"Part of what made Jones popular was telling it like it is. Jones inspired audiences, especially young people, with the notion that a radical vision, combined with innovative ideas and fundamental organizing, could work in tandem with our political system," Hazen writes.

One thing we do know is that Van Jones won’t be working as a lawyer anywhere.

Yes. The blogosphere will be chasing Van Jones around for the rest of Obama’s Reign of Terror, and letting us know where he is and what he is saying. He is no longer below the radar. I hope he doesn’t control his tongue. It would be nice to have a much deeper body of radical racist socialist statements by him to refer to.

This sure reads like money laundering and influence buying writ large.

...the Independent Media Institute, a "progressive" alternative media outlet...

Any more "progressive" than NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, NPR, or PMSNBC?

Listening to Van Jones reminds me of those Charles Manson parole hearings on YouTube. There are moments of lucidity punctuated with—and then overtaken by—paranoid delusions. Charlie’s case is more extreme, to be sure, but the same delusional spirit is at work in both.

It is a good thing that the part of America who didn’t understand the problem when they heard racist Rev. Wright and read about terrorists William Ayers and overlooked lies and secrets are seeing Obama is without a doubt happy with no one but ruthless, dangerous hate-mongers. These toxic candidates weren’t vetted; they were cherry picked. Lots more are already installed in the administration and more are surely in the wings waiting to be added to the new oligarchy of Soviet style czars.

"He resigned, probably under pressure from O who, while he no doubt agrees with everything that comes out of Jones’ mouth, does not have the grit to stand by him."

I wonder if Zer0 got pressure from Sorros to keep his shadow government as stealth as possible. This is all unconstitutional and grounds for impeachment. Here is a list of these critters known as czars:

Richard Holbrooke — Afghanistan Czar Jeffrey Crowley — AIDS Czar Ed Montgomery — Auto Recovery Czar Alan Bersin — Border Czar David J. Hayes — California Water Czar Ron Bloom — Car Czar (moved to Manufacturing Czar today) Dennis Ross — Central Region Czar Todd Stern — Climate Czar Lynn Rosenthal — Domestic Violence Czar Gil Kerlikowske — Drug Czar Paul Volcker — Economic Czar Carol Browner — Energy and Environment Czar Joshua DuBois — Faith Based Czar Jeffrey Zients — Government Performance Czar Cameron Davis — Great Lakes Czar Van Jones — Green Jobs Czar (resigned) Daniel Fried — Guantanamo Closure Czar Nancy-Ann DeParle — Health Czar Vivek Kundra — Information Czar Dennis Blair — Intelligence Czar Ron Bloom — Manufacturing Czar George Mitchell — Mideast Peace Czar Kenneth R. Feinberg — Pay Czar Cass R. Sunstein — Regulatory Czar John Holdren — Science Czar Earl Devaney — Stimulus Accountability Czar J. Scott Gration — Sudan Czar Herb Allison — TARP Czar Aneesh Chopra — Technology Czar John Brennan — Terrorism Czar Adolfo Carrion Jr. — Urban Affairs Czar Ashton Carter — Weapons Czar Gary Samore — WMD Policy Czar.

If the Republicans had a spine, they would have all of these Communist gone tomorrow and Zer0 up for impeachment charges. However, while they were fighting that war, Zer0 would have the Dems slipping in God knows what behind their backs.

“Part of what made Jones popular was telling it like it is.”

The error in grammer here is exceeded by the error in judgement. This person is deluded.

“He calls Jones “arguably the most effective communicator”

Van Jones’ vocabulary precludes his being a communicator.

"This person is deluded."--RoadTest

I agree, but "telling it like it is" to other deluded souls makes sense in a weird way. The sharing of delusions do not make them true, though. In the video Jones goes off the beam early, matter-of-factly saying that a planned for-profit prison was really a "struggle to create a huge slave ship on dry land."

Oh? I thought prisoners were criminals of some kind or another, and all this time they were poor innocent slaves!

Jones is a weirdo just like Obama.
