Why Green Czar Van Jones Didn't Have to Resign

Van Jones, the administrations green czar, made news early Sunday after announcing he was resigning from his post at the White House Council on Environmental Quality. Its normally a strategic move to announce unflattering news during a long holiday weekend, but Jones timing seemed to be at the behest of his critics. In recent weeks, several Hill Republicans have lobbed accusations that Jones was unfit to serve in the administration because of incendiary comments he made before assuming office in February. They also cited a questionable petition he signed in 2004 alleging the 9/11 terrorist attacks may have been the work of the government.

Van Jones should have stayed. He was more proof that Obama and his inner circle are all racsists and marxists thugs with low IQs.

NewsWEAK is so in the tank for this inept admininstration. I would bet that this is the first ever article written about Van Jones in Newsweak. Such a great job they did of vetting him...
To: Paleo Conservative
Sad too. If he had stayed - the gangrene would have spread to Obama and his other stooges plus the entire Democrat Party.
Obama is JUST like Farrakhan, Jackson, Rev Wright and other racists who hate “whitey.”

I can't believe anyone still reads Newsweek. I was in the check out line at the super market a while back and I picked up a copy. It seemed like it was only about 30 pages. It's less that half the size it use to be. I stopped reading Newsweek and Time many years ago even before I went online. They are nothing but tools of the liberal/leftists. They never seem to cover any significant stories and are always behind the curve. I do pick them up and glance them over occasionally when I'm in the doctors office or wherever. It's good to check on them occasionally.

He "didn't have to" quit because, as Newsweek clearly knows, Marxist, Communist, Statist, Revolutionaries are welcome in, and in fact make up the core and base of the abomination that is the Obama Administration.

I think A.B. Stoddard explained this very well last week on Fox’s Special Report. He had to go over the Labor Day weekend, or the story would be competing with BO’s big health care speech.

There’s plenty more commies where Jones came from. Target rich environment and all that.
It will be fun picking them off one by one and exposing the Obama regime (and I think that’s the right term for this guy)for all to see.
There won’t be any doubt after the evil right wingers have their way what the real intentions of these people are.

It's worth noting that the "truther" movement accusing the Bush Administration of a hand in 9/11 has evolved significantly since 2004. Back then, it was a sizable group of skeptical citizens asking unanswered questions. Only since has the association turned fringe and angry.Well, if you say so. I guess there is nothing intrinsically fringy about accusing an administration of mass murder - as long as it is a republican administration.

From what I have read, he was thoroughly vetted, and he was absolutely what they wanted.
They just didn’t expect a highly public vetting by anyone else.
Even now, their prestitute enablers are minimizing it all to “previous statements before he joined the administration and the petition the Yale lawyer signed wirthout understanding.
NOTHING about his racist rants; Mumia support; STORM founding; self-avowed Communism; anti law enforcement work; demands for reparations; anti-US “vigil immediately after 9-11, and so much more.
The WH knew it, and approved it, and not only condoned it, they applauded it.

the administration because of incendiary comments he made before assuming office in February. They also cited a questionable petition he signed in 2004 alleging the 9/11 terrorist attacks may have been the work of the government. Factually fraudulent. Glen Beck played clips of him IN APRIL making inflammatory comments.

The reason he had to resign was, for two days solid, the white house phone lines were burned up with people protesting Van Jones’ hate filled, racist, bigoted anti America, anti white, venom being spewed...And the bashing of the former President of the United States, for protecting this country against Obama and Van JOnes’ Muslim brothers!

Sad too. If he had stayed - the gangrene would have spread to Obama and his other stooges plus the entire Democrat Party. Van Jones was just the surface. There is a whole slew of rot in the 0 "Czars". Jones is just the start of the surgery Glen Beck is doing on this administration.

The gang green is there with or without Jones. No vetting? Someone in congress should want to pick this up, and for the dems’ sake that someone ought to be one of them.

Interesting take, but not for the reason its author intended. This is, essentially, an attempt to rewrite history with a careful selection of certain facts and a ruthless suppression of others. It's also absolutely useless, and the reason is that proof to the contrary is all over the internet, quite impossible to suppress, at least at the moment. Actual clips of the man himself with dates and without the protective mantle of a "journalist" who will be happy to reinterpret them for us.
In short, the dinosaur media are finding their power of revisionism cut short by the ability of the common citizen to see the raw evidence for himself. That is, actually, pretty significant.
To: Nachum
So Newsweek joins the “he be framed” crew. Isn’t THAT a surprise.
