Van Jones, Victim Of Hate-broadcast Terrorism
Black Star NEws ^ | 9/6/09 | Editors

So we see the Witch hunt escalating. This is just the beginning.

Van Jones, the White House environmental adviser resigned last night following a smear campaign launched by Glenn Beck and other Republicans.

Jones, who is Black, was criticized as a "radical" whose views are out of the mainstream.

The Republicans dug up various incidents from Jones' background; that he once headed an organization that fought police brutality; that he was one of the demonstrators who protested the police brutalization of Rodney King; that he once described himself as a socialist; that he criticized white owned companies for dumping toxic waste in African American neighborhoods; and that he signed a petition which questioned whether the government's laxity allowed the 9/11 tragedy to occur.

Jones is a brilliant graduate of Yale and is respected globally as an expert on "green" jobs and the environment.

So, without giving Jones the opportunity to address or rebut any of his attackers, cyber terrorists started spreading the allegations over the Internet and over hate-broadcast news shows such as Glenn Beck's.

Glenn Beck is the same verbal terrorist who, on national television, lost his mind a few weeks ago and accused President Obama --whose mother was White and was raised by White grandparents-- of being a "racist" who was against "the White culture."

Several major corporate advertisers withdrew their ads from Glenn Beck's show; in retaliation, he went after Van Jones.

....Glenn Beck didn’t put a gun to his head and force his resignation....Jones did it on his own....voluntarily.

They should direct their ire to Obama and the Democrats, seeing that the Republicans have no power and Glenn Beck is a private citizen with zero policy making authority.

Wrong....he called himself “a radical Communist.” And we don’t need one of those handing out $80 Billion of our tax money to his fellow travelers under the guise of “green jobs.”

Are you sick and tired of this “because he’s black nonsense” as I am? Getting tired and old! He is a non vetted radical, commie, jailbird, racist!

Will they ever stop throwing the race card when people disagree with someone who is “black”? =.=

Jones is a victim of his own fat mouth, and the ‘terrorist’ card is getting just as raggedy as the racist one is, IMHO.

They are out of the mainstream dipwad. An openly avowed communist who hates his country, hates white people, hates Republicans, supports cop-killers, and blames his country for the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil - is advising the freaking President?

(K Street cocktail party dinner voice) Gee, there's nothing wrong with that, why he's just a nice African-American gentleman with a diverse background who's being smeared by those evil right-wing Republicans.

"Jones is a brilliant graduate of Yale and is respected globally as an expert on "green" jobs and the environment. "

Brilliant?

He said himself that he didn't do anything while at Yale.

They gave him a diploma because he's Black.

He's brilliant like that POS Obama.

Sounds like someone in the black community still hasn't got a grasp of video ~ that the picture of the guy mouthing the words is, in fact, "the guy".

This is just a lame attempt to pursue recreation of a comedic but offensive caricature of black people and should be stopped.

Van Jones said he was a Commie ~ and that's what he said. He also said a lot of other stuff ~ it's all there on film.

As Andy Levy on Twitter just said, “Breaking: Right Wing Terrorists Force Van Jones to Sign Petition”.

“This is just the beginning.”

I’m sure they put this statement in there in order to scare me.

Ironic that it fills me with joy instead. Every public figure who is paid with our tax dollars, REPUBLICAN OR DEMOCRAT, should be subject to such high scrutiny. If only we didn’t have state-run media.

The ironic part is, the lamestream media WOULDN’T report what was clearly “there” with Van Jones...i.e., racism, Trutherism, etc. but, they would go out of their way to MAKE STUFF UP about BUSH (National Guard Memos).
