This is like the lefties I toured Europe with in the 80’s. I was like 12 years old when this happened.

We got the the East/West border to drive to Berlin and I pointed to the 30 foot high barbed wire fences, guard towers and minefields and said “This is what having a weak Western alliance will get you.”.

They just shut up and didn’t criticize Ronald Reagan or his nuclear buildup again the rest of the trip.

It’s not hard for me to understand that Americans voted for this guy. He ran on nothing but code words and platitudes. Those who recognized him for what he was had either lived behind the Iron Curtain or come in contact with it. We’ve been so blessed as a nation for the past 60 years that we’ve never had to look evil square in the eye of an external enemy.

Now we know that the enemy was never out there, it was in here all along.

The end result is the same. The Joker’s supporters are unhappy with him and all that matters is that he is losing support.

This quote from the Chronicle comments on Jones:

How is a lawyer and activist qualified to help create green technology jobs?

LOL! It's a question everyone should be asking their elected officials.

Well, the Dems do have overwhelming control over Congress. Why would he negotiate with Reps? We know the answer.

I agree with your comment. He’s precisely what they voted for. They couldn’t be bothered to look at the facts before they went to the polls. But I’m willing to let them save face as long as they help fix what they’ve done.

Obama is only in this for Obama. His narcissism is so deep that he’s convinced that only he can define what America needs. He has transcended collectivism, socialism, and even communism for his only true conviction; Obamaism. His demands, even to school children, that they pledge personal devotion and obedience to him is extremely revealing and defines his principle belief and his presidency.

i read that he was given 30 billion of OUR money to play with. I don’t think his position had much to do with green jobs - it was a cover for his communist activities. Why would it take 30B to get green jobs going? Seems to me if there was a market that we’d already have lots and lots of solar panels and windmills.

The Stupid Party reached out to him and even helped pass his porkulus bill.

So exactly how many GOP House members voted for the bill?

Exactly. I love the way the media is saying the reason he is losing the socialist medical care debate is because he left the legislation to Nancy and Harry.... just what did they expect? He is NOT a leader who stands up for principles and takes stands. He didn’t vote present for no reason! Who the heck is so gutless that he votes present?
He is a puppet of the left, there is little There, there!
Off the teleprompter he stutters and stammers and can not explain a thought in plain cogent english. It’s actually painful to watch on multiple levels.

It’s good to know that some of his voters are shedding their blinders.

It's a start. Now if only they could get rid of their ignorant brains.

But didn’t obama say he was going to work with the Republicans while campaigning? And she didn’t realize that?

Obama's been voting "not present" on health care reform all summer. I guess Rahm finally told him that Presidents don't have that option.

Same thing with Afghanistan. The fact that he has less knowledge of military strategy than a private is enough to question any decision to expand our troop strength in Afghanistan.

There is no way in tarnation that the Obama Administration has the will to do what's necessary in Afghanistan. I'm not talking completely about military strategy, but also diplomatic: there should be repercussions for those countries providing support and cover to al-Qaeda and the Taliban.

Obama will crumble with the first reports of civilian casualties, and al-Qaeda knows it.

It’s great that he is losing support, but never in a million years did I think an Obama could be elected as POTUS, but he was.
With this in mind, does anyone think we could wake up tomorrow under martial law?

I don't call the Republican Party the Stupid Party any longer. It is more accurate to call it the Cowardly Party. The leadership is cowardly because it will not stand up for the middle class and working people who are being hosed every day by the Democrats and their allies: the enviromental movement, banks, international corporations, the media, international organizations, etc. It is the Cowardly Party because its leadership will not point out the failure of Democrat policies in the inner cities, which are keeping minorities and poor people ignorant and dependent wards of a corrupt state.

When will the Cowardly Party grow a nutsack?
