Obama supporters question his leadership ["This isn't what I voted for"]

WASHINGTON, Sept. 6 (UPI) -- U.S. President Barack Obama's leadership is being tested as his poll numbers dip and his supporters question his commitment to fight for them, analysts say.

Dozens of interviews this summer in six states conducted by The Washington Post and published Sunday revealed a growing sense of gloom and disappointment by the president's supporters over his administration's present course, especially coming after an August congressional recess dominated by angry attacks from opponents of his healthcare reform agenda.

In the wake of the Van Jones resignation, one California voter "THZebra" comments on The San Francisco Chronicle's Web site:

I really wonder why Mangan, or anybody would want a self proclaimed Communist in Federal Govt. What could possibly be the reason? This is not me or Glenn Beck saying this. This is Jones saying this. He has, repeatedly, made racist remarks. He has extolled the "virtues" of communism. He has claimed suburban white kids shoot up schools, not black kids. He signed the 9/11 "truther" petition and claims he didn/t know what it said (he is a Yale lawyer and he signed something without READING it?)

It goes on and on. Google him and see for yourself. HIS own words and actions got him in this mess. My concern now is this guy I voted for, for president (Obama), what kind of a nut is HE that he would put this guy in a position of power?

In this great country we have the right to our opinon. We have the right to be a nut-case if we choose. But I DO NOT want Communists (again, Jones own words) in the govt.

This is the beginning of the end for Obama.

"This isn't what I voted for"

Then you are stupid or you didn't do your homework. In either case, maybe you shouldn't vote next time unless you know what you are doing.

LOL I knew it all would come back and start to bite him in his liberal ass eventually, just didn’t expect it so soon...and I am delighted!!! Soon everyone will see how right Sean Hannity was in bringing up all of Hussein’s radical associations over and over again. McCain missed the boat hugely because he was afraid to do it. They were important, EXTREMELY important to knowing who Obama really is.

His supporters as disapointed he hasn’t brought the country far enough to the left.

The moderates and independents are horrified at how far he has brought the country to the left.

So, we have two groups with buyers remorse.

It’s good to know that some of his voters are shedding their blinders.

Obozo had the most liberal voting record in the Senate.
So he wins and is going to change and be a moderate?
No he is a Marxist, and he just don’t like this country.

Don’t you just want to shake these people while you holler, “Then what the Hell did you think you were voting for?”

Throughout time, the United States has been plagued with poor leadership from those who were elected by complete fools who failed to understand the consequences.

Freshman Democratic Congressman Alan Grayson of Florida said Obama needs "to not only combat the lies, but to combat the liars."
The only way to combat lies is with the truth. And unfortunately for the Democrats, the truth is what is causing supporters to question their leadership!

I cannot imagine WHAT made them think this clown had any leadership qualities? What has he ever LED in the first place?

The Left is all emotion and no pragmatism. They think good looking equals smart, stated good intentions equal leadership and a fawning press validating their every drool means means a sure win scenario for their candidate.

You really need to read the article. She is stating she didn’t vote for him to negotiate with Republicans. The entire article is about him not being tough enough with the opposition, that he should not only combat the lies, but combat the liars (Republicans and anti-obamacare protestors at town hall meetings).

"Until last week, he was still trying to play ball with the Republicans who said, 'We're going to bring you down,'" Karen Davis, 42, a Jersey City, N.J., musician who raised funds for Obama last year, told the newspaper. "Now I'm thinking, 'This isn't what I voted for.'"

Karen are you fricking kidding me?
The Stupid Party reached out to him and even helped pass his porkulus bill.
