President Barack Obama's adviser Van Jones has resigned amid controversy over past inflammatory statements, the White House said early Sunday.

I saw his statement on Fox news. He was resigning because of the controversy, not because he did anything wrong. It's all those hateful white racist rightwingers, ya know.
