Jones blames 'smears' for ouster (Convicted by his own mouth!)

On a slow news day, late at night, on a holiday week end when most citizens aren't paying attention to the news, the White House released a statement that Van Jones resigned.

And although Jones did earlier issue an apology for previously describing Republicans in crude terms and other questionable behavior and associations, Jones, a true member of the Obama administration, blamed the evil other, those opposed to the reforms of President Barack Obama (D), for forcing his resignation. You see, it really wasn't his fault.

"On the eve of historic fights for health care and clean energy, opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me," Jones, special adviser for green jobs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, said in a statement announcing his resignation just after midnight Saturday. "They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide."

He continued: "I have been inundated with calls -- from across the political spectrum -- urging me to 'stay and fight.' But I came here to fight for others, not for myself. I cannot in good conscience ask my colleagues to expend precious time and energy defending or explaining my past. We need all hands on deck, fighting for the future."

Spoken like a true member of the Obama administration. He won't have to worry about joining the ranks of the unemployed though--all ex President George W. Bush's fault of course--as he'll be a triumphant trophy hire for numerous environmental, and other organizations, where as a victim of the vast right wing conspiracy he'll enjoy martyr status.

As far as Obomba is concerned, one less Communist in his administration doesn't make any more difference than a pimple on a private's a$$.

In fact there are so many Communists surrounding him that he'll never run out of any to throw under the bus in a meaningless gesture to temporarily appease the sheep.

Americans need to see the White House, and most of the 'Central Government' cleansed of extraneous employees. That would save America countless billions of dollars not only in bloated salaries and benefits but in the expensive evil mischief they create.

This would apply to the staffs of both houses of Congress as well.

Government has so many extraneous, worthless and needless high-salaried employees. Just take a look at our local school systems. Administrations are packed with assistant after assistant and specialist after specialist that are absolutely unneeded.

ALL government must be butchered. Billions will be saved, but in the process so will our freedom be saved. More government, more controls mean the end of America.
