It appears the reason high level Obama appointee Van Jones has such a deep seated hatred for America has been found: He was a nerd who was bullied in school and was "always picked last" in team sports.
In an undated interview published at Collage Foundation, Jones spoke of his growing up as a nerd and how he scammed a graduate degree from Yale:
When you were younger, what were you interested in?
I was mainly interested in journalism and poetry and writing. I read a lot of comic books, James Bonda lot of good guy vs. bad guy type of stuff. I was a big 'Star Wars' fanÉI played a lot of strategy board games—I was basically a nerd.
Do you see any connection between that and the work you ended up doing?
Definitely—when I was younger I was really small and I was always picked last for Phys. Ed, sports teams and stuff. I was a bully magnet, so I grew up with a really strong hatred for bullies and people who abuse their power.

I had a professor who encouraged me to apply to Harvard and Yale [for law school], which was almost unheard of for students coming from the kind of public schools that I was coming from in the rural South. I was accepted to both places, and decided to go to Yale because Yale didn't have any grades and was smaller than Harvard. I figured, once I enroll I'm guaranteed to graduate, so I can just go and be a radical hellraiser student, and they can't do anything about it. Which is pretty much what happened.
Jones also spoke about going to undergraduate school and getting internships and scholarships based on being Black:
I went to college on a minority scholarship. All my internships were minority internships...
So there you have it. Another tyrant working out his childhood issues on America.
Just wow. Blaming his deep rooted communism on the fact that “He was a nerd who was bullied in school and was ‘always picked last’ in team sports” is like claiming that criminals turn to crime because of poverty.
The falsity of equating an outcome with certain experiences does nothing to explain why most nerds who were bad at sports actually turn out pretty well, or why most poor people do not commit crimes. By that (non)reasoning, I should be a rabid communist who’s constantly in trouble with the law.
And there you have it folks, no redeeming value other than being black.
So he gets everything handed to him, and is not adult enough to take his free ride and turn it into anything better than to be a professional victim, communist race-baiting mouth piece for another professional victim.

maybe we can give an award call it the Jackson/Sharpton/Wright Piece Award for getting a piece of the American Dream and not deserving it.

I recognized it the first time I laid eyes on one of his speeches. A week later, not it is confirmed with these personal background stories. These are the most dangerous kinds of libs. Who are seething under the surface for some past injustice, imagined or real, maybe even 30 years later, and are just waiting to take it out in the form of revenge. Hitler harboured hatred of Jews from his young days of learning art in Vienna....and we all know what that was converted into.

It took Van two years of facing his spiritual self, feeding his health needs, and spending time with people outside of his work to return to what he considered a stable place. His breakdown happened just a few months after Julia Butterfly Hill came down from her two year tree-sit. Both of them emotionally raw and wanting to work hard to change the world, they helped each other walk through this difficult time.
I also asked if he is ever afraid that someone will exploit his mistake and make him look bad. He says that, no, he doesn’t worry about this because he’s not so concerned with the way he’s making himself look.
He’d rather confess than accuse. “I can't rail against all the warmongers, polluters and incarcerators OUT THERE,” he says, “without first confessing to all the warmongers, polluters and incarcerators that I carry within myself.
I am just as bad and terrible and greedy and selfish as all the people in the White House whom I like to criticize and oppose. I have no doubt about that.” !!!!!!
