I don't see how we can win this. One gives a service the other has nothing to sell.

In other words, how can you be in the market to sell nothing and expect people to buy it?

Previously free-market proponents could at least argue that we might not be offering you something but we also are not going to take something away from you, primarily through higher taxes. Now, however, with less than half the Country paying any Federal Income Taxes at all, we can't even argue this to the majority. It's hard to compete with "you'll get what you want and we'll make others pay for it".

Our founding fathers got around this by only allowing those that owned land could vote. Today we could change this to only those that pay taxes can vote.

Since this isn't going to happen we can not even require people to show ID before they vote i believe Civil War II is just a matter of time
