Excellent points and excellent questions, if I may say so.
I’ve tried to convey as reasonably as I can (how do you tell people that the communists are coming without sounding like a loon? At least that was the case until fairly recently.) on this forum, and many, many other places, that we are in big trouble. For many years I’ve watched the hard-left put themselves in a position from which to make their final push.
They are trying, right this very minute, to make their final push.
Let me make the simple even more simple—if they pass their health care bill, we’re done. I suspect the cap ‘n trade legislation will have a similar, but somewhat delayed, effect on the US.
The paradigm shifts at that point—it is a HUGE part of our economy, it is our very bodies that we’re talking about. It shifts from individual freedom to the state as our keeper—they own your bodies.
It is the psychological effects of this that will destroy the United States, and they know it.
Believe me when I say: American minds will follow. Not you reading this, necessarily, but your children will grow up with the government ‘taking care of’ their bodies. They will not have the same philosophical or political foundation as you—they will not be the Americans we are.
It will not matter who is elected in 2012, or any other election thereafter, because they will all serve under the leftist government that has been put in place.
From this they will easily achieve all other goals in time.
If it passes, then the founder’s idea of this country is dead and buried.
We are then subject to inevitable international encroachment on our sovereignty—we will fall as a nation to the global socialists/communists.
Could this possibly be dependent on this health care bill, this administration? A resounding yes.
Not to mention what our enemies will throw at us militarily as well fall. Sorry to be so bleak, but I think all of you here recognize our position on this planet and can imagine how our enemies might react to our ever-weakening state.
We are the light of the world, if you believe that human freedom lit this world, that is. And though it is very fashionable to despise this country these days, thanks to the highly effective subversion of the global left, the fact remains that if we fall the entire world will suffer.
This country will not survive the hard-left in power.
This is their Hail Mary pass. They have been drooling over the prospect for decades.
This is what the founders were trying to prevent—this comprises every evil they warned us of. It will be the end of self-rule. It’s then back to old-fashioned slavery.

Enough of us have forgotten what a real threat to freedom looks like that the hard-left has flourished in our country of late. They are here and they feverishly working to undermine your freedom.
It is happening right now.
Those who know what is happening are having a hell of a time trying to reach people through the fog of their conditioning. If we come out and say it (Communists are working to overthrow the USofA), we are often met with outright rejection. What you ‘know’ is the biggest obstacle to your learning the truth. (Not to mention the awful effects of mass media on consciousness.) We are under attack by the hard-left. This is a quiet war. They are winning.
It is time for all of us to wake up, rise up and fight this before it is no longer an option to resist.
I know you don’t want to. I know you really want to believe the situation isn’t as grave as I have presented. I know you have families to take care of. I know that things look just fine on television and just outside your door.
But we are at a crossroads and each of us must join in on the work to save this country. No one is coming. We are this country’s last line of defense. If we don’t fight she gets no defense at all—we surrender her to our would-be masters.
I hope that in a few years that we all can say we got wise to what was happening in the nick of time and saved ourselves.
I have children and I shutter at the thought of how the alternative will affect them.
My father warned me about the communists long ago. I thought he was exaggerating the point. By Bill Clinton’s 2nd term, I began to see my father was dead right and that the communists had saturated our society and was trying to implement communism in America. Took me a while to see.
I may sound like a nut to many when I spout my anti-communist stuff. But I am convinced and it doesn’t stop me from spouting off about it. My father taught me that much and I believe it.
Socialized medicine has long been a cornerstone of socialist societies and most western nations have embraced it. We are one of the last dominoes and the communists know they can’t have socialism without it, but having it will accelerate their power grab. I realize that.
I don’t know if it will pass. There is huge opposition. If it is passed unilaterally by the Democrats, and if a huge national backlash sweeps the Republicans back in, there is at least SOME chance that part of that Republican mandate will be to dissolve the socialized medicine programs put in before. The program is not set to go into affect until 2013, so a Republican sweep in 2010, or more likely by 2012, would leave time to undo the legislation.
I realize the danger in it.
I cherish Freedom. I am perfectly willing to live with the reductions in security that result from a high level of Freedom. I hate socialism. We have to stop it at all costs. The problem is, a US totalitarian dictatorship is inevitable. The best we can possibly do is delaying action. The children are brainwashed. Everyone from welfare queens to AARP Seniors feels ENTITLED to suckle off the public trough. That train has left the station.
The best we can do is fight that entitlement mentality and try to delay an increase in it. But the masses have already learned they can vote themselves largess from the public treasury and they are going to do so with every new election. Unless we can go back to only wealthy landowners voting, we can’t stop that progression — only delay it. That is where we are today.
Hopefully, we will be able to delay it due to Obama over-reaching which runs the risk of waking the sheeple.
