Thanks to the work done by Jim Hoft at (Gateway Pundit) , an (an army of Davids) has begun scouring the Internet to find more about Barack Obama adviser Van Jones and his bent towards 9/11 Trutherism. Hot Air reader Geoff A digs out (this nugget) from 2002 at the first anniversary of 9/11 in San Francisco, when Jones appeared at the Embarcadero for a protest. Here’s the description, which sounds familiar to anyone who followed the Obama presidential campaign (emphases mine):

Obama is not appointing czars, he constructing a politburo.
Van Jones is clearly helping the numbers for the Pres....to go down, I’d say.
Give props to Glenn Beck for exposing everything. He did the heavy lifting that got all the others going.
Van Jones will go first, then hopefully, Mark Loyd and Cass Sunstein.

The morons in the WH are the most incompetent people I’ve ever had the priviledge of watching trying to run this country (into the ground). They have a socialist/marxist agenda, and are trying to pull the wool over the eyes of the American people, but they keep shooting themselves in the foot. This would all be comical if not for the real damage being done to this country and it’s people.
The importance of O’s Wright moment is that many people, including Republicans, were led to see him as a post-racial American, someone who had stepped beyond race. Many people, perhaps especially Republicans, are anxious to see America put its race obsession behind it once and for all. O promoted that view of himself.
The the Wright bombshell hit, and people were forced to realize that O was apparently as race obsessed as any other Democrat.
It also destroyed his credibility as a Christian candidate. I knew a number of people who immediately liked the fact that he was apparently up front about his Christianity. How exactly he could resolve his faith with his Democrat political views wasn’t clear, but they admired the fact that finally we have a Democrat who isn’t afraid to mention his faith in public.
Wright jerked the legs out from under that misconception too. A listen to Wright’s rantings and everyone knew that anyone who could sit still for that could not possibly be a Christian in any normal sense.
Van Jones just reminds us that everything Wright showed us about O’s character is confirmed. You want to know who O is? Ignore what he says. Look at who he surrounds himself with.

I would submit to you that L’Affaire Van Jones has proven that O is far, far worse than your typical Democrat
It’s important to note that the Wright bombshell hit after the Hawkeye Cauci. Hillary threw in the towel after Iowa.
Elections will not end. They may change character. They have been changing in character for several cycles as vote fraud has been normalized across the country and ACORN has more and more begun to control them.
It’s really just too funny. I can’t believe the American people were foolish enough to vote this regime into power. We here on FR knew. Everyone else was blind.
